3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail PROCUREMENT OF INLET AIR FILTER CRTIDGES.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS: BID NO: 40033369.

1.0

i)Bidder should have designed, manufactured, tested and supplied two sets (each set comprising of minimum 504 cartridges) of cylindrical Inlet Air filter cartridges of dia equal or more than 300 mm, made of cellulose synthetics glass fiber, for self cleaning pulse jet type inlet air filtration system of industrial gas turbine of capacity of 80 MW or more during the last 3 year as on date of bid opening.

ii)The Inlet air Filter mentioned in Clause 1(i) above should have been in successful operational for at least 12 months prior to the date of bid opening.

OR 2.0

i)Those bidder who do not meet above qualifying requirements mentioned at clause no 1 (i) & (ii) on their own can also participate provided they have a valid collaboration agreement with a reputed manufacturer of Inlet Air filter cartridges for self cleaning pulse jet type inlet air filtration system.

ii)The Collaborator mentioned at clause no 2 (i) should meet the requirement mentioned at clause no 1 above.

iii)Bidder has to provide documentary evidence (copy) towards valid agreement of collaboration till the end of warrantee period of inlet air filter cartridges to be supplied in addition to the document required under clause no 1 above.

3.0 The bidders who are meeting the qualifying requirements mentioned at clause no 2 above have to supply the filter cartridges for which they have submitted collaboration. The bidder should submit a letter from the collaborator in original with specific reference to this office that the collaborator will stand guarantee for the supplies made by the bidder.

4.0 The bidder should have their own full fledged testing facilities in India as per ARAMCO material system specification: 32-AMSS-008, for combustion gas turbines OR should give an undertaking for shop testing of the filter cartridges in India.

5.0 Financial criteria:

a.The bidder should have executed the supply of cylindrical Inlet air filter for inlet air filtration system of industrial gas turbine as mentioned at clause no 1 & 2 above during the last 7 years meeting any one of following criteria as on date of bid opening.

Single (1) order of contract value not less than India Rupee Rs 70.12 lacs Two (2) orders, each of contract value not less than India Rupee Rs 43.82 lacs Three (3) orders, each of contract value not less than India Rupee Rs 35.06 lacs

b.The average annual turnover of the bidder for the preceding three (3) completed financial years as on date of bid opening shall not be less than Indian Rupees 262.96 lacs.

NOTE:

a.Party has to submit all the documentary evidence in support of above requirements

b.The word" executed" means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even if the total contract is not completed / closed and same shall be supported by documentary evidence.

c.In case where audited results for the last preceding year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

d.NTPC has right to assess the capability & capacity of the bidder

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
