1.0DISCLAIMER

1.1NTPC reserves the right not to proceed further, to change the process or procedure to be applied for Enlistment/Registration. It also reserves the right to decline to discuss further with any Applicant applying for Enlistment/Registration.

2.0INTRODUCTION

2.1NTPC Limited (A Government of India Enterprise) is the largest power generating company of India. With current generating capacity of more than 43,143 MW, NTPC has embarked on plans to become a 1,28,000 MW company by 2032.

3.0SCOPE

3.1NTPC Kudgi STPP plans to enlist/register manufacturer/vendors for Procurement of

Cement [Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC) & Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)] required there.

Applications are invited in prescribed form from manufacturers/ vendors of cement (PPC and/or OPC) who are interested to supply cement for this project.

4.0INSTRUCTIONS TO THE APPLICANTS

4.1The applicant will have to submit his application (alongwith supporting documents) at NTPC Kudgi site office after carefully examining the documents/ conditions etc.

4.2The fee for “Application for Registration” is Rs. 600/- (Non-refundable) to be submitted SEPARATELY in the form of a Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of “NTPC Limited” and payable at Bijapur (Karnataka). Without requisite amount of DD, “Application for Registration” shall not be considered.

NSIC and SSI vendors are exempted from submitting the above fees.

4.3Applicants will submit the duly completed application alongwith all the required documents. Further, applicants are required to fill up all the required data/information sought.

4.4The applicant shall submit the Power of Attorney duly authorized & notarized for the person signing and submitting the application on behalf of the applicants.

4.5The applicant shall strictly adhere to the “Fraud Prevention Policy” of NTPC displayed on its tender website http://www.ntpctender.com.

4.6All cost incurred by applicants for preparing and submitting the application, providing clarification or any other expenses whatsoever shall be borne by applicants themselves.

4.7The information sought shall be filled in completely and wherever not applicable it should be written as “Not Applicable”.

4.8A prospective Applicant requiring any clarification to the Enlistment documents may notify the same through e-mail or in writing by post as per detail address given below. NTPC Kudgi will respond to any request for clarification that it receives not later than Seven (07) days prior to the deadline for submission of application prescribed by the NTPC.

4.9The Applicant may modify, substitute or withdraw his original application for Enlistment after its submission, but in any case before the specified deadline for submission. For doing so, a corresponding written notice of the modification or substitution or withdrawal has to be submitted by the Applicant to the Employer prior to the last date notified for receipt of the applications.

No applications shall be modified, substituted or withdrawn by the Applicant subsequent to the last date notified for receipt of the applications.

4.10Any information/data furnished by the Applicant found to be incorrect or false of misleading at any point of time would render him liable to be debarred from the Enlistment.

4.11NTPC reserves the right to cross check and confirm the information /details furnished by the Applicant.

4.12Last date for submission of application for empanelment/registration completed in all respect alongwith necessary documents is 18.03.2015 till 1500 hrs. (IST). Any change in last date for submission of application will be published only in our websites.

4.13Make sure that the duly completed application (alongwith all the required documents) is reached NTPC Kudgi site office well in advance of the time & date specified.

4.14Applicant’s attention is drawn that during the period, the applications are under consideration, the applicant is advised to refrain from contacting by any means, the Employer and/or his employees/representatives on matters related to the applications under consideration. Any effort by an Applicant to influence the Employer’s processing of applications for Enlistment will result in the rejection of the Applicant’s application for Enlistment/Registrations.

During the evaluation of the Applications, the Employer may, at its discretion, ask the Applicant for clarification to the applications including documentary evidences.

5.0EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR ENLISTMENT

5.1The enlistment is being done for Supply of both Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC) & Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and manufacturers interested in enlistment of PPC and/or OPC shall submit application with documentary evidence towards meeting the Qualifying Requirements.

5.2For the purpose of Enlistment, Applicants shall be evaluated on the basis of stipulated Qualifying Requirements along with supporting documents etc.

5.3Even though an Applicant may satisfy the above requirements, he would be liable to disqualification if he has made misleading or false representation or deliberately suppress the information in the forms, statements and enclosures required in the application.

6.0This Enlistment/Registration shall be valid for a period of three (03) years from the date of issue of the enlistment letter. However, the Enlistment/Registration shall be updated once in a year.

7.0Registration Certificate will be issued on receipt of refundable security deposit of Rs.10,000/- in the form of DD separately.

8.0CANCELLATION OF ENLISTED /REGISTERED AGENCIES

8.1The Enlistment /Registration of agency (ies) shall be cancelled by NTPC if the agency is non responsive against our enquiries or on account of its performance or bankruptcy and activities detrimental to the interest of NTPC. The decision of NTPC in this regard shall be final and binding on the agency.

9.0Notwithstanding anything contained in this application for Enlistment, NTPC reserves the right to accept or reject any application and annul the process and reject all applications at any time without any liability or any obligation for such acceptance, rejection or annulment without assigning any reasons.

10.0Applicant may note that mere submission of filled in application for Enlistment and/or submission of additional information do not automatically entitle him to claim for Enlistment. NTPC at its discretion may re-invite or modify or annul the process without assigning reason whatsoever.

11.0Applicants who respond within due date with application as mentioned above against this advertisement will be considered for Enlistment/Registration.
