3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at BIJAPUR or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

The service requirement will include room service for 06 rooms in the ground floor for the visiting Guest/ VIPs. The ground floor will serve as Transit Camp, the first & second floor comprises of 06 rooms each & will serve as Bachelor Accommodation & will be allotted to employees.

The catering service will include these two floors also. Tea/coffee, Breakfast Lunch, Dinner & any other requirement of the Guest/ inmates. Upkeep of the rooms, toilets & common areas such as front yard, staircase etc also to be part of the work to be undertaken. Changing Linen, towels etc also to be part of the work. Upkeep of the entire building admeasuring 4210 sq feet including 12 nos Toilets and 04 nos. Bathrooms to be undertaken.

Provision of Caretaking of Transit camp/Guest House including reception (front desk) facilitating accommodation and allied services for comfortable stay of employees/guests of NTPC Limited and catering are the main activities of this contract.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

7.1The bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that he fulfils the Quaifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:

The Bidder should have executed Running, Maintenance and catering Services of Guest House / Transit Camp / Management Training Institute of Central Govt. Departments / PSUs / Large Organizations of Repute / 2 Star (or above star) Hotels having minimum five rooms for the following contract values in the past seven ( 7 ) years as on seven (7) days prior to the date of techno-commercial bid opening.

a ) Single Executed / Completed Contract Value of not less than Rs. 11.0 Lakhs

b ) Two Executed / Completed Contracts of each having value not less than Rs. 7.0 Lakhs

c ) Three Executed / Completed Contracts of each having value not less than Rs. 6.0 Lakhs

7.2 Financial Criteria :

a ) The average annual Turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three ( 3 ) financial years as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 14.0 Lakhs ( Rupees Fourteen lakhs Only ).

b) The bidder has to furnish audited financial statements in support of turnover. In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

NOTES:

i ) Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

ii ) The completed cost of the work may be updated @ 8 % compounded for each completed year ending March 31st.

7.3 The word Executed means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even if the total contract is not completed / closed.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
