3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at NEW DELHI or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Power & Control Cables - BTPS

1. Power cable, 6.6/6.6KV(UE),3CX150 sqmm, XLPE INSULATED, OUTER SHEATH-FRLS, INNER SHEATH-FR TYPE, galvanised steel stip armoured, multi stand ALUMINIUM CONDUCTOR

3Description: compacted circular multi stand aluminium conductor, conductor screened by an extruded layer of semi-conducting compound, XLPE insulated, insulation screened by an extruded layer of semi- conducting compound followed by layer of copper tape, extruded FR-PVC inner sheathed, galvanised steel stip armoured overall FRLS - PVC Type ST-2 sheathed,6.6/6.6KV(UE) grade cable generally conforming to IS-7098-2/IEC-60502-2

7 Insulation Screening: IS-5831/IEC-60502-2

Material: Extruded semiconducting compound in combination with armour. Moisture barrier shall be provided & shall be bonded/stippled type extruded semiconducting insulation screening which can be stippled without application of heat by using suitable stripping tools.

8 A layer of semiconducting water blocking tape followed by a layer of PE-AL-PE laminated tape, over the copper tape screen 9 Inner sheath: IS-5831/IEC-60502-2

Material: galvanised steel strip

11 Outer Sheath:IEC- IS-5831/IEC-60502-2

Material: PVC type ST-2 to IS-5831/84 (FRLS type) Black colour (The outer sheath shall meet all the physical propertiesas per IS-5831/1984)

12 Special requirement:

aSuitable chemical shall be added to the outer sheath to protect the cable from rodent and termites attack.The chemical used for this purpose should not have harmful effect to human beings.

bCable shall be of oxygen index not less than 29 at room

temperature & temperature index 250 deg centigrade when tested in accordance with ASTMD-2863/95. Oxygen index test shall be at elevated temperature for outer sheath.

cFlammibility test on the finished cable shall be as per astmd-2843/IEC-60332-2-2

dThe bidder shall furnish the calculation in support of three phase fault capability of conductor, screen armour and copper tape used in construction of cables

etesting of cables to be done as per IS-7098 Pt-2/IEC-60502-2 , IS :10810 and acoordingly QP to be furnished by the bidder

fThe tolerance in overall diameter of the cable shall be +/-2% or +/-1mm which ever is higher

gCable drum length shall be 1000+/-5 meters.

hThe cable should be capable of carying screen fault current 300A for single core & 900A for three core for two seconds.

iCore identification-colour striped applied on cores or by numbers(1,2, 3)as per IS-7098 Pt-2/IEC-60502-2

13 Type Test: IS-7098 Pt-2/IEC-60502-2 , IS :10810

a Type test should be conducted for the mentioned cable and cost of the test must be included in the offered rate.

14Routiene & acceptance test: Routiene & acceptance test should be conducted for the mentioned cable

15Quality Plan: Quality plan to be submitted by the vendor for NTPC approval after placement of Purchase Order.

6) DEFECT LIABILITY

Defect Liability will be two year after supply of material at BTPS store.

2. Armoured copper stranded control cable (multi-strand, core identification with numbering) 7C x 2.5 mm2, 1100 volt grade, PVC insulated and sheathed FRLS control cable,conforming to IS-1554 part-I with latest amendment STANDARD LENGTH 1000 METERS. SEQUENTIAL MARKING OF LENGTH AT EVERY ONE METRE AND VOLTAGE GRADE.

Quality Checks:-

1.PDI shall be done at Vendor#s works.

2.Grades/types as applicable as per IS standards to be got approved by Indenter and to be incorporated in the P.O.

3.Routine and acceptance tests as per the IS standard shall be witnessed.

4.Copy of Type Test certificate (not more than 5 years old on the day of inspection) for similar item accomplished from any govt test house or witnessed by NTPC representative as per IS standard to be submitted during the inspection.

5.Progressive sequential marking as specified in IS standard including length in meters to be inscribed on every meter length on the outer sheath of cable.

Important Notes for Bidders:

1.Bidder are requested to submit offer online in SRM, Hard copy is not acceptable.

2.Detailed specification mentioned in information from purchaser in Item data tab shall be final.

3.Bidders are requested to open output preview and cross verify the quoted rates, P&F charges, taxes, duties, transportation, insurance etc.

4.Bidders are requested to quote either with VAT or CST. BTPS is situated in Delhi , Bidder supplying material from outside Delhi are requested to quote CST and Bidder supply material from Delhi are requested to quote VAT. Bidder may pls note that BTPS is authorized to issue C- form ,where ever applicable.

5.If bidders wants to regret some item(for item wise evaluation), pls leave all the field in item data-see conditions tab as blank and ignore the warning of item rate being zero.

6.All the catalogues/Technical data/part number etc are to be attached in C # Folder.

7.You are requested to quote as per unit of measurement and per unit quantity required in item data

Say if the rates are required to filled up per 1 number, the price for 1 number should be filled up in item data.

Say if the rates are required to be filled up per 1 meter/ 1 MT, the price for 1 meter/ 1 MT should be filled up in item data.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.0 (i) Qualifying Requirements for item no. 01 of T.E:

The Bidder should be a manufacturer or their authorized dealer of Cables of voltage grade 6.6 KV or more.

(ii) Qualifying Requirements for item no. 02 of T.E:

The Bidder should be a manufacturer or their authorized dealer of Cables of voltage grade 1.1 KV or more

2.0 The bidder should have executed any one of the following Similar Works In India in the preceding seven years as on the date of opening of Techno-Commercial proposal:

For item no. 01:

One Work of value not less than Rs 6.18 lacs (Rupee Six lakh and Eighteen thousand only) OR

Two works of value not less than Rs 3.87 lacs (Rupee Three lakh and Eighty Seven thousand only) each. OR

Three works of value not less than of Rs 3.09 lacs (Rupee Three lakh and Nine thousand only) each.

For item no. 02:

One Work of value not less than Rs 1.84 lacs (Rupee One lakh and Eighty Four thousand only)

Two works of value not less than Rs 1.15 lacs (Rupee One lakh and Fifteen thousand only) each.

Three works of value not less than of Rs 0.92 lacs (Rupee Ninety Two thousand only) each.

Note:

2.1#Similar# works means any work which includes #Supply of HT/LT Cables#.

2.2The work #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/closed.

2.3In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of opening of Techno-Commercial proposal as certified by the Client shall be considered.

3.0 The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of opening of Techno-Commercial proposal should:

For item no. 01:

not be less than Rs 15.46 lakh ( Rupee Fifteen Lakh forty six thousand only)

For item no. 02:

not be less than Rs 4.60 lakh ( Rupee Four Lakh sixty thousand only)

Note:

3.1While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

3.2In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

4.0 Bidder can participate for item no. 01 OR item no.02 OR both.

In case of participation in both cases above values shall be summation of both cases.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
