3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at NEW DELHI or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

1.0 Item Description:

Lightly resin bonded machine stitched, machine laid Rockwool mattresses conforming to IS 8183:93, density 150kg/m3 with both sides G.I. wire netting in size of 3/4# x 24G in mattress size of min. 1500 X 1000 X 60 mm to Max. 2000 X 1500 X 60 mm.

(QTY: 5000.00 m2)

2.0 QUALITY PLAN:

1.PDI at vendor#s works as per the PO specifications.

2.Bulk density to be tested as per IS-3144.

3.Material to be tested as per IS 8183-1993 group-4 & IS-3144.

4.Test certificate of Thermal conductivity or K-value of the material, from Govt. Lab/NABL accredited Lab as per IS-8183-1993 group-4 to be submitted for which sample is to be sealed by NTPC representative from same batch/lot.

3.0 EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD) : Bid Security in the amount of Rs. 24,000/- (Rupees Twenty Four Thousand Only) in a separate envelope.

In case of Bank Guarantee, the same should be valid for 225 days from the date of Bid Opening and BG should be executed on Rs. 100/-non judicial stamp paper.

In case of DD/Banker#s cheque, same should be payable at Delhi in the favour of NTPC Ltd

No Interest shall be paid on EMD. Offers without EMD are liable for rejection

4.0 Quantity Variation : (+/-) 5% due to the nature of item.

5.0 DELIVERY SCHEDULE : Within 105 days.

6.0 Security Deposit: S.D. @ 5% of order value to be deposited by the firm and shall be released after completion of supplies.

7.0 Contract Performance Guarantee : Not Applicable

8.0 Bid Opening Process : Technical Bid shall be opened of those bidders whose EMD's have been found in order and meeting other tender conditions, as stipulated in tender documents.

Price bids shall be opened on a later date of only those bidders whose technical bid is found acceptable and who fulfill the Qualifying Requirements.

The date of Price bid opening of such qualified bidders shall be separately intimated.

9.0 ALL DOCUMENTS OF TENDER ENQUIRY ARE ATTACHED IN COLLABORATION FOLDER.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1)The bidder should be a manufacturer of the machine stitched LRB (Lightly Resin Bonded) Rockwool Insulation of minimum size of 1500 X 1000 X 60 mm, conforming to IS 8183:93.

2)The bidder should have executed any one of the following Similar Works in India in the preceding seven years as on the date of opening of Techno Commercial proposal:

One Work of value not less than Rs. 9.60 lacs (Rupees Nine Lakhs and Sixty Thousand only). OR

Two Works of value not less than Rs. 6.00 lacs (Rupees Six Lakhs only) each. OR

Three Works of value not less than of Rs. 4.80 lacs (Rupees Four Lakhs and Eighty Thousand only) each.

Note:

2.1) #Similar# works means any work which includes #The supply of the Lightly Resin Bonded Rockwool Insulation#.

2.2) The works #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and / or is not completed / closed.

2.3) In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of opening of Techno-Commercial proposal as certified by the Client shall be considered.

3) The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of opening of Techno # Commercial proposal should not be less than Rs. 41.13 lacs (Rupees Forty One Lakhs Thirteen Thousand only) each.

Note:

3.1) While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

3.2) In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
