3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at NEW DELHI or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

1.0 Item Description:

MFG.& SUPPLY OF BOTH SIDES CERAMIC LINED INNER CONE AS PER OUR TENTATIVE DRG.NO.BTPS/210/B/2002-757, SPECIFICATION FOR CERAMIC TILED CONE 01: ALUMINA CONTENT : 85% MINIMUM 02: DRY DENSITY : 3.2GMS / CC . MINIMUM 03: WATER ABSORPTION : LESS THAN 1% 04: HARDNESS : 8.0 MINIMUM IN MOH'S SCALE 05: FLEXURAL STRENGTH : AT ROOM TEMP: 2200 KG/SQ. CM MINIMUM 06: C.C.S. : 3000 KG/SQ. CM MINIMUM 07: CASING : MILD STEEEL AS PER IS:2062 GR.A NOTE: 15MM(-/+1mm) THICK CERAMIC LINING TO BE DONE FULLY ON BOTH SIDE OVER THE BASE PLATE 10MM THICK, EXCEPT IN THE OUTSIDE SURFACE AREA CORRESPONDING TO AN INCLINED LENTH OF 245(-/+3mm) MM AND IN THE INSIDE SURFACE AREA CORRESPONDING TO AN INCLINED LENGTH OF 60(-/+3mm) MM FROM THE TOP EDGE THAT IS THE EDGE CORRESPONDING TO THE LARGER DIAMETER OF THE CONE.

Conditions:

1.The cone shall be supplied as a single unit with the help of clamp.

2.The party shall submit drawing for NTPC approval.

3.The party should supply one sample piece for fitment checking at site before clearance from site for supply of rest of the quantity.

4.The enclosed tentative drawing is only for quotation and dimensional purpose.

2.0 Inspection : As per attached Quality Plan in Collaboration Folder.

3.0 EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD) : Bid Security in the amount of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) in a separate envelope.

In case of Bank Guarantee, the same should be valid for 225 days from the date of Bid Opening and BG should be executed on Rs. 100/- non judicial stamp paper.

In case of DD/Banker#s cheque, same should be payable at Delhi in the favour of NTPC Ltd No Interest shall be paid on EMD. Offers without EMD are liable for rejection.

4.0 DELIVERY SCHEDULE : Within 270 days.

5.0 Security Deposit: S.D. @ 5% of order value to be deposited by the firm and shall be released after completion of supplies.

6.0 Contract Performance Guarantee: (i) Item should be guaranteed for 30 months from the date of delivery or 24 months of operational life; whichever is earlier.

(ii)Vendor will have to submit 10% performance bank guarantee for the guaranteed period.

(iii)If the material fails within guarantee period; the vendor will have to replace the material free of cost failing which the bank guarantee shall be forfeited.

7.0 Bid Opening Process : Technical Bid shall be opened of those bidders whose EMD's have been found in order and meeting other tender conditions, as stipulated in tender documents.

Price bids shall be opened on a later date of only those bidders whose technical bid is found acceptable and who fulfill the Qualifying Requirements.

The date of Price bid opening of such qualified bidders shall be separately intimated.

8.0 Drawings: Attached in Collaboration Folder.

9.0 ALL THE DOCUMENTS OF TENDER ENQUIRY ARE ATTACHED IN COLLABORATION FOLDER.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1)The Bidder or its principal should be manufacturer of Ceramic Lined components for milling system and should have designed and supplied at least in two different Coal Fired Power Plant having capacities of 200 MW and above.

2)The bidder should have executed any one of the following Similar Works in India in the preceding seven years as on the date of opening of Techno Commercial proposal:

One Work of value not less than Rs. 7.63 lacs (Rupee Seven Lakh and Sixty Three Thousand only). OR

Two Works of value not less than Rs. 4.77 lacs (Rupee Four Lakh and Seventy Seven Thousand only) each. OR

Three Works of value not less than of Rs. 3.82 lacs (Rupee Three Lakh and Eighty Two Thousand only) each.

Note:

2.1) #Similar# works means any work which includes #Supply of ceramic lined bends or pipes or cones or orifices or all of these mentioned items.#

2.2) The works #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and / or is not completed / closed.

2.3) In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of opening of Techno-Commercial proposal as certified by the Client shall be considered.

3) The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of opening of Techno # Commercial proposal should not be less than Rs. 12.72 Lakh (Rupee Twelve Lakh Seventy Two Thousand only).

Note:

3.1) While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

3.2) In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
