3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

Supply of following types of Conveyor Belts for CHP, Rihand

1.1400MM:CONV BELT- NN 630/4 FR,5/2, Qty.: 5000 Mtrs.

2.1400MM:CONV BELT- NN 800/4 FR,5/2, Qty.: 1250 Mtrs.

3.1400MM:CONV BELT- NN1000/4,FR5/2, Qty.: 2000 Mtrs.

4.1400MM:CONV BELT- NN 1250/4 FR,5/2, Qty.: 2250 Mtrs.

5.1400MM:CONV BELT- NN1600/4,FR5/2, Qty.: 1750 Mtrs.

6.1800MM:CONV BELT NN800/5,FR,8/3, Qty.: 200 Mtrs.

7.1800MM:CONV BELT NN800/5,FR,8/3, Qty.: 200 Mtrs.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.0 The bidder should have manufactured Fire Resistant Grade NN Conveyor Belts of width 1400 mm or higher, tensile strength 1600 KN/m, 4 ply, or higher conforming to IS:1891 (Part-I)-1994, IS: 1891 (PartV)-1993, ISO-340, CAN/CSA-M422-M87, Type-C, as applicable.

2.0 The bidder should have manufactured and supplied Fire Resistant grade NN Conveyor Belts of width 1400 mm or higher, tensile strength of 630 KN/m or higher, during last seven (07) years as on the date of bid opening, as any one of the following:

a) Three similar orders having value not less than Rs. 199.0 lacs each. OR

b) Two similar orders having value not less than Rs. 249.0 lacs each. OR

c) One similar order having value not less than Rs. 398.0 lacs.

3.0 The bidder should have in house testing facilities required for testing of Conveyor Belts as per IS: 1891 (Part-I) 1994, IS: 1891 (Part V) 1993, ISO-340, CAN/CSA- M422-M87, Type-C, as applicable.

4.0 The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) Completed financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 497.0 lacs.

Important Note:

(i)The bidder should submit proof of meeting QR as detailed above alongwith the technical bid for evaluation.

(ii)Scanned copies of documents in support of each QR should be attatched in C-folder in seperate folders.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.

11. REGARDING TENDER FEES (this is in continuation of s.no.4 above):

1.Tender fee may be submitted in the form of a Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft in favour of NTPC Limited and en-cashable at State Bank of India, Bijpur (Rihand Nagar) branch code no. 7523 OR Union Bank of India, Rihand Nagar Branch code no. 550116 and same may be send to the address mentioned at s.no.10 above well in advance before document sale close date.

2.SME vendors having valid Micro and Small Enterprise Certificate shall be exempted from payment of Tender Fee. Bidders seeking, exemption should enclose a photocopy of valid registration certificate giving details such as validity, monetary limit, stores etc. Same may be send to the address mentioned at s.no.10 above well in advance before document sale close date.

3.Bid documents are not transferable.
