Sealed bids are invited on behalf of NTPC Limited, Tanda from eligible bidders for supply of following items. NIT No 40032606

*PRICE BID: Price Bid opening Date shall be intimated to technically qualified bidders, later on.
(A) Qualifying requirements for NIT
1 The Bidder must be manufacturer of Hydrochloric acid conforming to
a) Three executed orders each costing not less than INR 3.9 lakhs each.
OR
b) Two executed orders each costing not less than INR 4.88 lakhs each
OR
c)One executed order costing not less than INR 7.8 lakhs.
2.The average annual financial turn#over of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years ending on 31 st March 2014 should not be less than Rs. 9.77 lacs
NOTES:-
A) The word executed means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even if the total contract is not completed / closed.
B)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
C)In cases where audited results of the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.
(i)Sale of Bid document From 15.01.2015 to 05.02.2015
(ii)Tender Fee Rs.1300.00 (inclusive of Sales Tax). In case bid document is required by post, additional Rs.50.00 may be added to the amount.
(iii) Earnest Money Rs 20,000.00
(B)General Conditions :
1.A complete set of Bid documents may be purchased by any interested bidder on submission of a written application and payment
In case the registered bidders who have downloaded the bidding documents require an additional manual copy of the documents then such bidders shall be required to purchase the manual copy of the bidding documents following the procedure detailed above.
Issuance of bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address given below in the presence of bidder#s representatives who choose to attend the bid opening.
2.Bid Documents can be obtained from the address given below on all working days between 10.00AM to 4.00 PM during the respective bid documents sale start/stop dates indicated above by submitting a request on bidders own letter head along with the Cost of Bid document
3.Bid documents will be issued to all the bidders on receipt of request along with the cost of bid documents stipulated above in this Notice Inviting Tender.
4.Authorisation/access for the bid documents shall be provided to the bidders after receipt of tender fee (offline).
5.All NSIC / SSI registered vendors are exempted from submission of tender fee & EMD. NSIC/SSI certificate must be furnished in
the separate envelope meant for EMD to avail the exemption from furnishing the EMD.
6.Guideline for submission of bid :
a)EMD, as mentioned in SRM portal shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope superscripting as #EMD#. Any bid not accompanied by requisite & acceptable EMD in a separate sealed envelope shall be rejected as being non responsive and returned to the bidder without being opened.
b)The documents in support of Qualifying Requirements shall be uploaded in C folder & commercial bid shall be filled on line in item data.
c)In case bid are not received as per above instructions, the same shall be rejected and returned back in unopened condition
7. The bidders shall have to necessarily upload submit the documents in support of meeting the qualifying requirements as mentioned above in C Folder along with their offer in a separate envelope, which
i)Documentary evidence / proof (Like Manufacturing License / BIS certification / ISO certification / SSI / NSIC certificate etc.) that the bidder is a manufacturer of Hydrochloric Acid
ii)Documentary evidence (by way of copies of Purchase orders / Award Letters and related invoice / ED gate pass, proof of payment etc) that the bidder has supplied Hydrochloric Acid during last 7(seven)years preceding the date of bid opening , for either of the following values:
a) Three executed orders each costing not less than INR 3.9 lakhs each. OR
b)Two executed orders each costing not less than INR 4.88 lakhs each
OR
d) One executed order costing not less than INR 7.8 lakhs
Documentary evidence (by way of copies of Balance Sheet etc.) that the average annual financial turnover of the bidder during last three (3) financial years as on date of bid opening should not be less than INR 9.77 Lacs.
8.In case the bidder fails to submit the document in support of meeting the QR, the offer shall be liable for rejection. Offer of the bidder not fulfilling the QR shall be rejected and shall not be considered for evaluation further.
9.NTPC shall not be responsible for any postal /courier delay, loss or non- receipt

of request for issue of tender documents. |

NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. |

Notwithstanding anything stated above, the NTPC reserves the right to assess the bidder#s capability and capacity to perform |
the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in its overall interest and the decision of NTPC Ltd., in this regard shall be final.
12. The prospective bidders in order to be able to download the bidding documents shall be required to Compulsory register themselves with the NTPC website which shall be a one time process.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
