3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at District Bilaspur or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1. The bidder should have designed, engineered, manufactured and commissioned at lease two nos. of coal fired steam generators for power plant units having unit rating not less than 200 MW, which should be in successful operation for a period of two years or above as on the date of bid opening

1(a) The bidder should be either an accredited agent / authorized representative of foreign manufacturer of 200 MW or above capacity boiler who have designed, engineered, manufactured and commissioned at least two nos. Of coal fired steam generators for power plant units having unit rating not less than 200 MW, which should be in successful operation for a period of two years or above as on the date of bid opening. The bidder is to submit undertaking from their principal manufacturer that material will be manufactured and supplied by the principal manufacturer only

1(b) The bidder can only be a wholly owned subsidiary of an organisation who is meeting the qualifying requirement as mentioned at clause 1 above and having manufacturing facility of pressure parts/ boiler tubes in India. The bidder is to submit the authorization letter from parent company

AND

2.The bidder should have supplied at least 50 nos. economiser / LTSH/reheater/superheater coils for 200 MW or above capacity boiler during last five years as on last day of the month previous to the date of bid opening

NOTE: In case the bidder is accredited agent / authorized representative / wholly owned subsidiary, credential of their principal manufacturer shall also be considered for criteria 2 above

3.The bidder should have successfully executed the order for supply of economizer / LTSH/reheater/superheater coils for 200 MW or above capacity boiler meeting any one of the following criteria during last seven years reckoned as on the date of bid opening in:

- Single order of value not less than Rs.115.29 Lakhs (80% of estimated value) - two orders of value not less than Rs.72.05 Lakhs (50% of estimated value)

- three orders of value not less than Rs.57.64 Lakhs (40% of estimated value)

4.Financial criteria:

a.The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 96.07 lacs

b.In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year is not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable

NOTES: Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
