5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail SCOPE OF WORK
1. The scope of work includes Internal repair & painting work and providing necessary fittings in bathroom, toilet and kitchen at bachelor hostel and other related works as per requirement instructed by EIC.
2. The agency has to completely remove all loose/damaged plaster and old layers of the paints from the walls of the Bachelor hostel by scraping and after necessary plastering and repair work, fixing of wall and floor tiles and necessary fittings in toilet, bathroom and kitchen as mentioned in BOQ and as per instruction of EIC.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The work shall be carried as per latest C.P.W.D specification/ relevant IS Code specifications as per instructions of EIC.
2. The agency has to take insurance covering for all the workers to be engaged in work and copy of same shall be submitted to EIC before start of work.
3. The agency shall |
be fully responsible to comply with all the Statuary requirements related to labour laws like |
minimum wages, PF |
etc. |
4. Agency has to submit detailed programme & methodology within 15 days from issue of LOI for approval of EIC.
5. All necessary tools |
and |
plants including scaffolding shall be arranged by the agency at their own cost and nothing |
extra shall be paid on |
this |
account. |
6. Cement shall be issued to agency for bonafide use by NTPC free of cost from the NTPC Central Store. However transportation of same from the NTPC Central Store upto place of work shall be in the scope of contract and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. ESTIMATED COST OF FREE ISSUE MATERIAL IS Rs. 1,25,000.00.
7. All debris generated during execution of work shall be removed from site by the agency on regular basis as per instruction of EIC.
8. The agency has to provide all required safety equipments and PPE's like safety helmet, gloves, safety net and safety belt including Scaffolding etc to the labours engaged during execution of the work and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
9.Completion period shall be 12(Months) months from the date of start.
10.Defect liability period shall be 12(Twelve) months from the date of completion.

12.Agencies are required to visit the site before quoting the rates.
13.The items like distemper vetrifid tiles and ceramic tiles and antiskid tiles, synthetic paints, etc shall be of approved
brand/make (Kajaria and equivalent) or as per the direction of EIC.
i) Synthetic enamel paid should be make Burger brand or equivalent and oil bound distemper should be Nerolac brand or equivalent.

15. All other terms and condition shall remain same as per G.C.C. of civil works of NTPC.
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
a)The bidder must have executed the civil construction of buildings/ civil repair of buildings during last seven (7) years ending last day of the month of previous to one in which bids are opened as any of the following :

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
