Notice Inviting Tender for

“Renovation of 3rd Floor of CERC Office at Chanderlok Building Janpath New Delhi”

1.0NTPC Limited invites tender from the eligible bidders for the aforesaid worke as per brief particulars of scope of work and qualifying requirements mentioned here in.

2.0Name of the work: :- “Renovation of 3rd Floor of CERC Office at Chanderlok Building Janpath New Delhi” .

3.0Brief Scope of Work:-

The scope of work under this contracts includes civil, Electrical, interior, finishing, plumbing, drainage, water supply, furniture work and other associated services for "Renovation of 3rd floor of CERC Office at Chanderlok Building, Janpath, New Delhi" The scope includes creating toilet in Member's Room, Toilet Renovation, modification in glass walls, increasing in the height of work station etc. at CERC office on 3rd Floor of Chandralok Building, Connaught Place, New Delhi which is a running office.Schematic drawing layout, ceiling plan & sections shall be provided by NTPC. The agency shall submit details working drawings/ shop drawings / shop drawing of all finishing samples/ shades before start of works for approval of NTPC.

	3.1	Document sale & Close dates	08.12.2014 onwards during working hours up to
			26.12.2014 (6.00 P.M)
	3.2	Bid Receipt date & time	02.01.2015 up to 3.00 PM
	3.3	Bid Opening date & time	02.01.2015 at 3.30 PM
	3.4	Cost of tender document	Rs. 900/- in the form of DD / Pay Order drawn in
			favour of NTPC Limited payable at New Delhi or
			through online payment gateway of NTPC.
	4.0	EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT	Rs.1,12,000/- (Rupees One Lac twelve Thousands
			Only)
	5.0	COMPLETION PERIOD	3 months from the date of Letter of Award .

6.0QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS

The Bidder should have successfully executed “ Similar work” within the preceding seven (7) years

6.1as on the date of Techno commercial Bid Opening, fulfilling any of the following criteria:

a)One similar work not less than Rs.44.53 Lacs

(Rupees Forty Four Lac Fifty Three Thousand Only)

OR

b) Two similar works costing not less than Rs. 27.83 Lacs each.

(Rupees Twenty Seven Lac Eighty Three Thousand Only)

OR

c)Three similar works costing not less than Rs. 22.26 Lacs each

(Rupees Twenty Two Lac Twenty Six Thousand Only)

Note for clause 6.1 above:

“Similar work” shall mean interior works / interior works with renovation, with office furniture and associated civil and electrical works.

The word “executed” mentioned above shall mean the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract he started earlier and / or is not completed / closed. In case of contract under execution, the value of work executed till the date of bid opening as certified by Employer shall be considered.

6.2The Average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on date of

techno-commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs 3.34 Cr. (Indian Rupees Three Crore thirty four lacs Only)

Note: While computing the annual turnover, other income shall not be considered.

In case, where audited results for the last preceding financial year is not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

7.0The Bidder shall submit the following documents in support of meeting QR along with bid.

7.1Copies of Purchase Order along with invoices and installation certificate in support of Clause 6.1 of QR.

Copies of audited balance sheet and profit & loss account or a certificate from Chartered Accountant

7.2confirming the turnover for the preceding 03 financial years as on the date of bid opening in support of Clause 6.2 of QR.

8.0Notwithstanding anything stated above, NTPC reserves the right to assess the bidder’s capability and capacity to perform the contract should the circumstances warrant such an

assessment in the overall interest of NTPC and the decision of NTPC in this regard shall be final and binding

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS TO BIDDER

The prospective bidders in order to be able to download the bidding documents shall be required to compulsorily register themselves with the NTPC website which shall be a one time process.

The registered prospective bidders who wish to download the bidding documents shall be prompted to enter his user id & password. Subsequent to entering of user id & password and acceptance of the same by the system, the prospective bidder shall be routed to payment gateway for making payment towards cost of bidding documents. On successful payment of cost of bidding documents the prospective bidder shall be authorized to download the bidding documents and the details of the prospective bidder shall be authorized to download the bidding documents and the details of the prospective bidder shall be stored by the system

A complete set of Bidding documents may be purchased by any interested bidder on submission of a written application and payment (non refundable) of the cost of the bidding documents as mentioned above in the form of a Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft in favor of NTPC Limited, New Delhi.

The bidding documents can also be downloaded from http://www.ntpctender.com on registration and online payment (non refundable) towards cost of bidding documents and downloaded documents can be used for bidding purposes.

In case the registered bidders who have downloaded the bidding documents require an additional manual copy of the documents then such bidders shall be required to purchase the manual copy of the bidding documents following the procedure detailed above.

Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address given below in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend the bid opening.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

•Responses submitted by Bidders who do not meet the qualifying requirements, or incomplete bids, will be rejected.

•NTPC reserves the right to verify any claims made by Bidders and to carry out a capability assessment. The decision of NTPC shall be final in this regard.

•NTPC also reserves the right to accept any proposal or to reject all proposals at any time prior to any short-listing, award or contract without incurring any liability or without any obligation to inform the affected party of the grounds for such decision.

•NTPC will not be responsible in any way for late receipt of request for tender documents/ tender due to any postal delay or delay in any form in transit.

The proposals shall be opened on the Date & Time mentioned in the documents in the presence of Bidders.
