3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail SCOPE OF WORK:

Scope of work includes Earth work, RCC work , PCC , Brick Work, Plastering, Finishing work, drainage work, parking, for Nursery shed at Barh STPP, as per enclosed BOQ , Latest CPWD specification, terms & conditions and direction of EIC.

SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1.0 CONTRACT PERIOD: Completion period for the job shall be 08 (Eight) months.

2.0 DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD: Defect liability period of the job shall be 12 (Twelve ) months. 3.0 Variation allowed: As per GCC

4.0 All other conditions shall be as per tender paper, special conditions of contract, scope of work & GCC for Civil work.

5.0 Cement, reinforcement and structural steel will be issued free of cost by NTPC. Contractor will have to make arrangements for lifting and transportation of materials from NTPC stores/anywhere within plant premises to site of work. No extra payments will be made on this account.

6.0 Supply of all materials, manpower, tools and plants etc. except cement reinforcement, & steel for DSR item. The Contractor is to mobilize all the resources as per requirement so that the job is completed within the schedule time as per satisfaction of EIC

7.0 Work shall be carried out as per latest CPWD specifications/IS codes.

8.0 water supply for the work is in the scope of contractor. No separate payment to be made by NTPC on this account. Only one point of power supply will be provided by NTPC.

9.0 Agency shall arrange and ensure all safety measures for accident free working .

10.0 Suitable insurance coverage under Workman#s Compensation Policy shall have to be submitted by the agency before start of work.

11.0 The contractor shall keep sufficient material and T & P in their stock to cope with actual requirement of work.

12.0 Monthly RA Bill will be prepared only after the submission of the bill by the agency. R.A. Bill will be released only after submission of statutory compliance.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

Qualifying Requirements:

The bidder who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements.

1.Bidder should either be a Company Registered under the Companies Act, 1956 or a Partnership/ Proprietorship firm.

2.The bidder should have executed/completed work of building conatruction/civil misc works as per following criterion within the preceding seven (7) years from the Date of Techno-Commercial Bid opening:

(a)Single Contract of value not less than Rs.18.60 Lakhs .

(b)Two Contracts of value not less than Rs.11.62 Lakhs each .

(c)Three Contracts of value not less than Rs.9.30 Lakhs each.

Note: Executed Work means :- Value of actual executed portion of Contract and not the total Contract value. In case of contract under execution as on the date of Techno-Commercial Bid opening, the actual executed portion of the Contract till the date of Techno-Commercial Bid opening duly certified by Owner shall be considered.

3. Financial Criteria:

i). The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) Financial Years as on the date of Techno-Commercial Bid opening shall not be less than Rs.34.87 Lacs.

ii). In case where audited financial results for the last preceding financial year is not available, certification of Financial Statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be acceptable.

Note: Other Income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

4.Bidder should have valid Provident Fund code Number (PF) & PAN and Service Tax Registration Number.

5.Notwithstanding anything stated above, the Employer reserves the right to assess the Capabilities & Capacity of the bidder to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in overall interest of Employer.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
