3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.
4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

SUBJECT : Annual Maintenance Contract for equipments in Turbine & auxiliaries area of Stage-I (4 x 60MW, GE Make) & Stage-II (2 x 110 MW, BHEL Make) during 2015-16.
QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS
===============================
1.0 BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK :
The proposal involves the following works in the 60 MW GE Units & 110 MW BHEL Units of Talcher Thermal :
(i)Maintenance (Preventive & Breakdown) of TG Aux. Equipments.
(ii)Overhauling Jobs of various equipments in Turbine & Auxiliaries.
(iii)LP & HP Valves Servicing.
(iv)Insulation works of Steam, Condensate & Feed Water System.
(v)Critical Pipe Welding Works.
(vi)Misc. LP Welding and structural Steel Works including replacement of different types / sizes of valves.
(vii)Equipment Painting & Lettering.
2.0 DURATION OF CONTRACT : 12 (Twelve) Months.
3.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS : - The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfil the following Qualifying Requirements.
Technical Criteria :-
The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfil the following Qualifying Requirements. I. The bidder must have executed himself or under any OEM e.g. BHEL, GE etc. the maintenance / overhauling of Steam Turbine & its auxiliaries (which must include BFP, Turbine Control valves, Governing Systems and Critical pipe welding works) of unit capacity 60MW and above in any industrial organization.
II. The bidder should have executed similar orders during last seven (07) years reckoned as on the date of bid opening date with either of the following :-
a)Value of Rs.76.66 Lacs in case of single similar order, or
b)Value of Rs.47.91 Lacs in case of two similar orders, or
c)Value of Rs.38.33 Lacs in case of three similar orders.
Note :- Similar Work would mean the Bidder must have executed himself or under any OEM e.g. BHEL, GE etc. the maintenance / overhauling of Steam Turbine & its auxiliaries (which must include BFP, Turbine Control valves, Governing Systems and Critical pipe welding works) of unit capacity 60MW and above in any industrial organization.
4.0 FINANCIAL CRITERIA: -
(A) AVERAGE ANNUAL TURNOVER:
The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of bid opening, shall not be less than INR 95.82 Lacs (Rupees Ninety Five Lac & Eighty Two Thousand only).
(B)The word #executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the process specified in the QR at para 3 even if total contract is not completed / closed.
(C)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in QR para 4.0(A).
(D)In case, where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.
5.0 Notwithstanding anything stated above, NTPC reserves the right to assess the bidder#s capability & capacity to perform the contract.
7.0 Additional information:-The following informations are required from the bidders about the companies where similar orders have been executed.
i)Name of the customer / company where similar order has been executed.
ii)Year of execution
iii)Name & designation (Phone No. / Fax No. / Email ID) of contact person of the customer.
8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any
reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
