bidder would require

vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained

by submitting a questionnaire

available at our SRM

site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not

allotted any vendor code are required to

approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

Bids are invited on behalf of NTPC Limited, Tanda from eligible bidders for supply of following items. NIT No:40029972

Item description :Industrial PA System Tender fee in Rs.:1300/-

EMD: Submission of EMD (Bid Security deposit) shall be ascertained offline well in advance before opening bid. PRICE BID: Opening date for Price Bid shall be intimated later on to the technically qualified bidders only.

Qualifying Requirements for B. I. No. 40029972

1)The bidder should be manufacturer of Industrial PA system or authorized dealer of manufacturer.

2)The bidder should have executed supply, erection & commissioning of Industrial PA System in Thermal Power Plants, Oil refinery, Steel Plant. Coal Mines, during last 07 years as on date of BID opening, for either of the following values:

(i)Three works each costing not less than INR 9.23 Lacs. OR

(ii)Two works each costing not less than INR 11.54 Lacs. OR

(ii)One work costing not less than INR 18.47 Lacs.

2) The

average annual turnover of the bidder during last Three (3)

financial

years ending

on

31st

March 2014 should

not be less than INR 30.79 Lacs.

 

 

 

 

 

Notes:

 

 

 

 

 

 

A. The

word executed means that the bidder should have achieved the

progress

specified in

the

QR

even if the total

contract

is not completed / closed.

 

 

 

 

 

B.Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

C.In cases where audited results of the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

Authorization / access for the bid documents shall be provided to the bidders

after receipt of tender fee/NSIC/SSI

certificate

(offline).

 

 

 

 

 

All NSIC

/SSI registered vendors are exempted from submission of tender

fee &

EMD. NSIC/SSI

certificate

must

be

furnished in the separate envelope meant for EMD to avail the exemption from furnishing the EMD.

 

 

Guideline for submission of bid :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EMD, as mentioned in SRM portal shall be submitted

in a separate sealed

envelope

superscribing

as #EMD#.

Any bid

not accompanied by requisite & acceptable EMD in a

separate

sealed envelope shall

be

rejected as

being non

responsive

and returned to the bidder without being opened.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The documents in support of Qualifying Requirements

shall be

uploaded in

C folder

&

commercial

bid shall

be filled on

line in item

data.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In case bid are not received as per above instructions, the same shall

be rejected

and returned back

in

unopened

condition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The bidders shall have necessarily to upload the

documents in support of meeting the qualifying requirements as

mentioned above in

C Folder

along with their offer,

which inter-alia shall include the following.

 

 

 

Documentary evidence ie turnover /Balance Sheet duly

certified by Chartered Accountants that the average annual turnover

of the Bidder

in the

three (3)

financial years ending March-2014 should not

be less than

Rs.30.79

Lakhs.

 

 

Documentary evidence / proof (Like Manufacturing License / BIS certification / ISO certification / SSI / NSIC certificate etc.) that the bidder is a manufacturer or their authorised dealer for Industrial PA System.

Documentary evidence towards proof of supply/execution shall be submitted by way of furnishing the Invoice, GR/LR,PO copies, payment proof etc.

The prospective bidders in order to able to download the bidding documents shall be required to register themselves with the NTPC website which shall be a onetime process.

In case the bidder fails to submit the documents in the support of meeting the QR, the offer shall be liable for rejection.

Offer of the bidder not fulfilling the QR shall be rejected and shall not be considered for evaluation further.

 

 

 

NTPC shall not be responsible for any postal /courier delay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.

 

 

 

 

 

Notwithstanding anything stated above, the NTPC reserves the right to

assess the

bidder#s

capability and

capacity

to

perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in

its

overall

interest

and the

decision of

NTPC

Ltd., in this

regard

shall be

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have

any claim arising out of such

action.
