NOTICE FOR ENLISTMENT OF VENDORS

1.0 APPLICATIONS ARE HEREBY INVITED ON BEHALF OF NTPC LTD. IN PRESCRIBED FORMAT FROM ELIGIBLE INTERESTED AND CAPABLE MANUFACTURERS POSSESSING SOUND FINANCIAL & TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUISITE EXPERIENCE FOR ENLISTMENT OF PORTLAND SLAG CEMENT IS-455 REPRODUCED BELOW.

2.0 MATERIAL FOR WHICH ENLISTMENT IS SOUGHT

3.0 THE SCHEDULE OF SUBMISSION, THE COST OF APPLICATION DOCUMENTS & APPLICATION FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

4.0 MINIMUM QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

Following minimum qualification criteria shall be followed:

a) The applicant should be an Indian manufacturer of Portland Slag Cement and should be a valid BIS license holder –IS455.

b) The applicant should have ISO 9001:2008 certification for cement manufacturing.

c) The applicant should have supplied Slag cement during last seven years reckoned as on the last date of application submission as per the following criteria.

i)Single order of value not less than Rs.62.4 lacs.

ii) Two orders, each of value not less than Rs.39.0 lacs.

iii) Three orders, each of value not less than Rs.31.2 lacs.

d) The annual turnover of the applicant in the preceding three completed financial years as on the last date of application submission should not be less than Rs.936.00 lacs.

Notes

i) Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

ii) In case where audited results for the last preceding financial years are not available certification of financial statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

iii) In the clause (c) above, the word “supplied” means applicant should have achieved the criteria specified in the QR even if the contract has been started earlier/or is not completed/closed.

Minimum qualification criteria as above shall be used for screening only. Decision of the internal committee, based on factors at 4.0 of Terms & Conditions for enlistment, shall be final after approval.

5.0 : TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Applications are to be made in prescribed form only. Application form can be had from the Purchase department on payment of Application document fee of Rs.100/- in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at SBI TELESINGHA-NTPC CAMPUS (code-6257) or UCO BANK, DEEPASHIKHA Branch Code :- 1889. Cash payment/money orders will not be accepted. The schedule of Banks from which DD is acceptable is attached at Annexure :-A.

2. The applicants along with their applications in the prescribed form will submit DD of appropriate value as mentioned in detailed Terms and Conditions as “application fee ” .DD will be favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at SBI TELESINGHA-NTPC CAMPUS (code-6257) or UCO BANK, DEEPASHIKHA Branch Code :- 1889. The schedule of Banks from which DD is acceptable is attached at Annexure :-A. Cash payment/money orders will not be accepted.

3. Separate application is to be made for each material.

4. Necessary documents in support of credentials (not returnable) must be submitted, failing which applications shall not be considered for evaluation.

5. All agencies considered for enlistment shall be required to show the originals of documents submitted for verification, as & when required.

6. The enlistment shall remain valid for three years from the date of issue. Only enlisted contractors shall be intimated to this effect.

7. No assurance can be given regarding volume of supply order to be placed by NTPC, Kaniha in the validity period.

8. Existing Vendors working with NTPC also need to apply for enlistment with all required documents and fees, failing which they may not be considered for enlistment.

9. Parties blacklisted/ banned by Govt. agencies, public sector undertakings shall not be considered for enlistment.

10. Terms & Conditions for Enlistment are separately available with the application documents. The applicant must accept the same unconditionally to be considered for enlistment.

11. NTPC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.

12. Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) registered with District Industries Centres or Khadi

and Village Industries Commission or Khadi and Village Industries Board or Coir Board

or National Small Industries Corporation or Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom or

any other body specified by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as per

MSMED Act 2006, for goods produced and services rendered, shall be issued application document free of cost and shall be exempted from paying Application Fee.
