3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

DETAILS HAVE BEEN ATTACHED IN COLLABORATION FOLDER.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.0 Brief Scope of Work:-

The scope of work under this proposal includes construction of toilet blocks for boys & girls in the identified schools of Angul Blocks in Angul District, Odisha and Maintenance thereof for Two years. Necessary co-ordination with school authorities is included in the scope of the successful bidder for construction & handing over of the facilities.

2.0 Estimated Cost: Rs. 282.00 Lacs

3.0 Completion Period : 6 Months

4.0Qualifying Requirements: The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements.

4.1Technical Criteria:

a)The bidder should have successfully executed civil maintenance work involving brick work and concrete work OR civil construction work involving brick work and concrete work at any organization. The bidder should submit documentary evidence in support of the work carried out by them.

b)The Bidder should have executed similar orders during last seven (07) years reckoned as on the date of bid opening with either of the following:-

i. Value of Rs. 225.60 Lac in case of a single similar order. Or

ii. Value of Rs. 141.00 Lac each in case of two similar orders. Or

iii. Value of Rs. 112.80 Lac each in case of three similar orders.

4.2 Financial Criteria: Average Annual Turnover:

The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 564 Lac (Rupees Five Crore Sixty Four Lac only).

Note:

a)Similar Order would mean Bidder should have successfully executed civil maintenance work involving brick work and concrete work OR civil construction work involving brick work and concrete work at any organization at any organization.

b)The word #executed# means that the bidder should have achieved the specified QR at para 4.1 even if the total contract is not completed/closed.

c)Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover as specified in the QR Para 4.2.

d)In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable satisfying QR Para 4.2.

e)Notwithstanding anything stated above, NTPC reserves the right to assess the bidder#s capability & capacity to perform the contract.

5.0 Additional Information

The following information is required from all the vendors about the companies where similar orders have been executed.

i.Name of the customer/company where similar order has been executed (copy of order to be submitted).

ii.Year of execution

iii.Name & designation (phone No, fax no, email-id of contact person of the customer.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
