NOTICE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR ENLISTMENT OF MANUFACTURERS OF CEMENT (OPC OR

PPC OR BOTH) FOR NTPC-BARH

NTPC-Barh invites applications for enlistment from reputed manufacturers of cement (OPC & PPC or both) who are interested to supply cement of the following grades at NTPC-Barh including transportation and unloading at site.

a)OPC Grade 43 conforming to IS 8112.

b)PPC conforming to IS: 1489 (Part–I) 1991,

c)PPC IS:1489(Part-1)1991.( However the compressive strength shall not be less than 23Mpa ,33Mpa and 43Mpa @3days,7daysand 28days respectively as per IS:8112)

1.0QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS (QRs) FOR BIDDERS

a)Applicant should be a manufacturer of cement and should have supplied at least 25,000 metric tones of OPC or 7500 MT of PPC IS: 1489 (Part–I) 1991 /7500 MT of PPC Equivalent to Gr 43(whichever is applicable), as on 31.03.14, in any one year during the last three years as on date of NIT.

b)Applicant should be holder of valid license from Bureau of Indian Standards for the respective grades for which enlistment is being sought .

c)Applicant should posses VAT/TIN,PAN & CST.

2.0TERMS AND CONDITIONS

i)Application for enlistment must accompany the following documents:

a)Details of the company profile to establish that the applicant is a manufacturer of cement with production capacity. The recent test results of their manufactured grades to be enclosed.

b)P. O. copies to establish that the applicant has supplied 25,000 metric tones OPC or 7500 MT PPC or PPC IS:1489(Part-1)1991 & 7500 MT of PPC Gr 43(whichever is applicable) as on 31.03.14 in any one year during the last three years.

c)Valid license from Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for the respective grades for which enlistment is being sought.

d)VAT/TIN,PAN & CST.

e)Our requirement of cement shall be FY 14-15-10000MT(PPC-1000MT & OPC-9000MT & FY15-16- 14000MT(PPC-3000MT & OPC -11000MT)

ii)a) The vendor shall be responsible for manufacture, transportation by rail/road and to supply OPC & PPC at NTPC-Barh.

b)Application should be accompanied by a Non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs.5625/- drawn in favour of NTPC Ltd. payable at SBI, NTPC Campus Branch, Barh (Branch Code-10085).

c)For any postal/communication delay, NTPC will not be held responsible. Response received late / incomplete is liable for rejection.
