3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

a.All waste materials generated during the execution of the work to be disposed of within 3 km lead or any identified location inside plant by EIC without any extra cost.

b.Stacking of serviceable materials at the shown place by EIC on Head/Mech. load without any claim or extra cost.

c.After completion or part completion, area is to be cleaned off all construction/waste materials.

02.Departmental materials shall be issued to agency from NTPC stores on free of cost. Carriage of these materials from NTPC store to site store shall be in the agency scope and its security safety shall remains with agency.

03.All the works shall be carried out as per Technical Specification of the work or CPWD Specification unless otherwise mentioned.

ADDITIONAL SPECIAL CONDITION OF CONTRACT:

For the work of Annual maintenance contract for civil work of O&M building and O&M area.

1.Contract period for this job is 12 months.

2.Contractor or his authorized representatives shall attend O & M/Civil office everyday for receiving the instructions and making aware with the work done.

3.The contractor should provide at least one supervisor on regular basis with minimum 2 gang of workers consisting of sufficient workers in each to attend on day to day civil complaint as well as other civil work for compliance on appropriate period. The contractor shall arrange the required materials for the work as per BOQ well in advance.

4.All bought out materials should be as per relevant CPWD specifications / I.S. Specifications or as per Manufacturer#s Specification and entry shall be through CISF gate after registering entry.

5.NTPC shall issue the following materials as free of cost for execution of this work :

(a)Cement

(b)Reinforcement Steel

(c)Structural Steel

6. The contractor shall take all safety majors to work in O & M area at his own cost. For non compliance of instruction, suitable penalty may be levied as per the Safety rules.

8.Being maintenance nature of work, individual item may deviate to any extent and few items may not be operated at all as per the site condition.

9.No claim towards labour loss will be entertained regarding the operational delay for any work.

10.All the terms and conditions will be as per GCC, Special condition of the contract, Additional condition of the contract and their subsequent amendments.

11.The running bill will be released only after submission of documentary evidence of wages sheet and PF challans against each deployed workers. The Contractor will submit a certificate regarding that No liabilities of his workers is pending, (if found any default) the contractor shall be solely responsible for the same.

12.All necessary Tools and plants for this work are to be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.

13.All other term & conditions will be as per GCC of civil works as far as applicable.

14.If any contradictory meaning appears in the item#s description or condition of contract, the decision of

Engineer-in Charge will be treated as final.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

Qualifying Requirements:

1.The Bidder should have executed/ completed work of civil maintenance/ building construction.

2.The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs.25.80 lakhs excluding other income.

3.The bidder should have successfully executed similar work during last seven years as on the date of the bid opening to meet either of the following criteria:

(a)Three similar work valuing not less than Rs.10.32 Lakh each. OR

(b)Two similar work valuing not less than Rs.12.91 Lakh each. OR

(c) One similar work valuing not less than Rs.20.64 Lakh. Note:

(i)Similar Work Means : Executing work of Civil Maintenance/ Building Construction. (ii)Executed Work means:Value of actually executed portion of an order and not the order value.

In case of purchase order under execution as on date of bid opening, the value actually executed portion of purchase order till date of bid opening duly certified by owner will be considered.

(iii)Not withstanding anything stated above, the employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities & capacity of the bidder/his collaborators/associates/subsidiaries/group companies as case may be to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in over all interest of owner.

4.Bidder should have valid PAN, Provident Fund code number (PF) and Service Tax Registration.

5.The bidder must submit the following documents: Details of order, proof of execution, audited balance sheet of last three years/ Statement of accounts for last three (03) years duly certified by practicing Chartered Accountant and Service Tax Registration, PAN & PF code to establish their credential in line with the qualifying requirements.
