3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

Description of Items in part-B

NS-1 Providing asbestos cement 6mm thick corrugated sheets roofing and fixing with polymer coated J or L hooks,bolts and nuts 8mm dia GI plain and bitumen washer complete excluding the cost of purlins,rafter and trusses:Corrugated sheets upto 60 degree pitch NS-2 Providing and fixing ridges and hips in asbestos cement sheet roofing one piece plain angular ridges

NS-3 Filling using broken hard stone of specified nominal size, brought from borrow area as specified below, for all leads and all lifts, filling, dressing, testing of material, with all labour, material, equipment, handling, transportation, etc. for all types of works at all levels, all complete, as per specification, drawings and instructions of the Engineer. - 63 mm to 45 mm graded hard stone aggregate. watering and ramming each layer using roller(not exceeding 200mm in thickness) to minimum of 85% of original volume of stone stack, including filling the interstices of stone aggregates with Sand.

Scope of work-This includes all the civil and structural steel works including labour, material other than cement, reinforcement and structural steel (only wherever specified), all other Tools and plant required for Construction of Car parking sheds at different locations in plant area for 70 cars at Barh STPP.

Release of payment - Payment shall be released on submission of RA Bills monthly against the work done during the period and after due compliance of statuary requirement and also due quality certificate from site FQA

EIC of the contract - Sr. Manager (O&M-Civil) Contract period # 10 Months

Term and condition #

1) Time is the essence of contract and for this contract the time shall be 10 months only.

2)Defect liability period # One year

3)SD shall be deducted as per GCC Special Conditions of Contract-

1)The successful bidder shall submit the Quality plan for approval of FQA Deptt.

2)The work shall be executed in accordance to the approved quality plan, Latest CPWD specification and IS Codes.

3)Contractor or his authorised representative shall attend the O&M Civil office for receiving the instructions and making aware of the work done.

4)Contractor shall provide at least one skilled supervisor at site who shall be well conversant to day to day work and its procedures.

5)All bought out items should be as per relevant CPWD specification / IS codes or as per manufacturers specifications and entry shall be through CISF gate after registering entry.

6)NTPC shall issue the following materials free of cost at NTPC store. The loading , unloading and its transportation up to store shall be within scope of bidder and no payment in this regard shall be tenable at any point of time. The materials are a)cement b) Steel reinforcement c) Structural steel.

7)All necessary tools and plants for the work shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost

8)The contractor shall take all necessary safety measures at work site and suitable penalty shall be imposed against non compliance of safety instructions.

9)No claim towards labour loss will be entertained regarding operational delay of the work.

10)No water supply point shall be provided near the site however the agency may arrange the water required for the work from existing water supply points.

11)No electrical point shall be provided near the site however the agency may arrange the power required for the works like fabrication, erection of Structural steel, Concrete mixer vibrators etc from existing electrical points with proper panel/safety appliances.

12)If any contradictory meaning appears in items description or condition of contract, the decision of EIC shall prevail and will be binding to the agency.

13)All other terms and condition will be as per GCC of civil works

14. Rate will remain firm and inclusive of all taxes & duties except service Tax.Service Tax will be extra asapplicable.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

Qualifying Requirements:

The bidder who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following Qualifying Requirements.

1. The Bidder should be a Company Registered under the Companies Act 1956 or a Partnership/ Proprietorship Firm.

2. The bidder should have executed/completed work of Building construction/Civil Misc. works as per following criterion within the preceding seven (7) years from the Date of Techno-Commercial Bid opening:

(a)Single Contract of value not less than Rs.22.90 Lakhs

(b)Two Contracts of value not less than Rs.14.31 Lakhs each.

(c)Three Contracts of value not less than Rs.11.45 Lakhs each.

Note:-

Executed Work means : Value of actually executed portion of a contract and not the total contract value.In case of contract under execution as on the date of Techno-Commercial Bid opening, the actual executed portion of the Contract till the date of Techno-Commercial Bid opening duly certified by Owner shall be considered.

3. Financial Criteria:

(i). The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial Bid opening shall not be less than Rs.34.35 Lacs.

(ii). In case where audited financial results for the last preceding financial year is not available, certification of Financial Statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be acceptable.

Note: Other Income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

4.Bidder should have valid Provident Fund code Number (PF) and Service Tax Registration Number.

5.Not withstanding anything stated above, the employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities & capacity of the bidder to
