shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the

bidder would require

vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained

by submitting a questionnaire

available at our SRM

site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not

allotted any vendor code are required to

approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Scope of work

Scope of work consists of: "Repair & Maintenance of drains in Township." by execution of following items.

a)Excavation of earth

b)PCC 1:3:6

c)Brick work with fly ash bricks/Old& used bricks in cement mortar 1:6

d)Half brick work with fly ash bricks/Old& used bricks in cement mortar 1:4

e) Replacing of damaged SW pipes and supply of Stoneware pipes grade A (60 cm long) 100mm & 150mm dia for future use.

f) Demolishing brick work manually and dismantling of old S.W. pipes including Removing mortar from bricks and cleaning bricks including stacking as per relevant BOQ items.

f)Plastering with 1:4 & plastering with 1:4 including neat cement as applicable.

g)Back filling of earth after construction of drains.

h)Transportation of surplus earth and building rubbish/debris with in a lead of 3.0 km outside township.

All the above items are to be executed inside township as per site condition/work requirement and instructions of EIC.

 

Terms & Conditions

 

 

 

 

 

1.

Agency shall execute the work without disturbing the flow of water of present system.

 

 

 

 

 

2.

During execution, if any obstruction / temporary barrier is required, the agency has to

provide

the

same

at

his own

cost and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

 

 

 

 

 

3.

If de-watering is required to execute the work within time frame as decided by EIC,

the arrangement

of

pumping

system with necessary fittings/assembly are to be provided by agency at his own cost and nothing

shall

be paid

extra on

this account.

 

 

 

 

 

4. Fly ash bricks/old & used bricks obtained from dismantling of brickwork shall be used for repair and maintenance of drains as per instruction of EIC. Fly ash bricks shall be issued from ash brick plant by NTPC free of cost, however the transportation of same as well as old & used bricks from issue point to actual work site shall be in the scope of agency and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

5. Cement shall be issued to agency by NTPC free of cost from central store. Agency has to keep the same in cement godown & consumption / issue register is to be maintained by agency. However transportation of cement is to be borne by agency at his own cost. ESTIMATED COST OF FREE ISSUE MATERIAL IS Rs.5,75,700.00.

6.

During dismantling of existing SW pipes and laying of new SW pipes in sewerage system if any type of sanitary work

is

required, the same shall be done by the agency at his own cost.

7.Completion period is 12 (twelve) months.

8.Defect liability period is One Year from date of actual completion.

9.

Agency has to remove/disposed off debris, surplus earth immediately during execution to avoid any type of hindrance

to

traffic and other ongoing activities.

10.All other terms & conditions will be as per G.C.C. /CPWD specification.

11.SINCE IT IS A MAINTENANCE/ REPAIR CONTRACT, HENCE OVERALL VARIATION MAY BE (+/-) 20% (TWENTY PERCENT) OF THE CONTRACT VALUE.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

a) The bidder should have the experience of civil construction/ civil maintenance.

b) The bidder should have executed similar work (

as per para 7(a)) during last seven (7) years ending last day of the

month previous to one in which bids are opened as any of the following :-

(i)One similar executed work of

value not

less than

Rs. 9.50

lacs.

 

 

 

 

OR

(ii) Two similar executed works

of value

not less than Rs.6.00

lacs each.

 

 

 

 

OR

(iii)Three similar executed works of value not less than Rs. 4.50 lacs each.

c)The average

annual

turnover of the

bidder in the three preceding completed financial years, as on the date of bid

opening shall

not be

less than Rs. 12.00

lacs.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
