5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail
Scope of work
The scope of work of this contract consists of:-
1.Raising of township boundary wall/ perimeter wall for safety and security of the township area, where the effective height of boundary wall is less than required/as per site conditions and instruction of EIC.
2.Plastering and painting as per relevant BOQ items.
3.Dismantling of angles and barbed wire fencing fixed on boundary wall. 4.fixing of broken glass on top of boundary wall.
Terms & Conditions
1.The agency has to submit insurance for the workers to be engaged before start work.
2.The agency has to take clearance from NTPC safety department and submit to EIC before start of work. Also the
agency has to provide all required PPE's viz. safety shoes, safety helmet, gloves etc to workers at work.

Only Cement (OPC/PPC) and fly ash bricks shall be issued to agency by NTPC |
free |
of cost |
from the |
designated |
issuing point viz NTPC central store & ash brick plant respectively. The agency has |
to transport these issued materials |
from respective issued point to work site at his own cost for |
which nothing shall be paid additionally. ESTIMATED |
COST OF FREE ISSUE MATERIAL IS Rs. 5,32,855.50 |

5. |
The agency has to execute the work for raising of boundary |
wall with safety as per site conditions at any height and |
all |
necessary scaffolding materials required shall be arranged by |
the agency at his own |
cost. |

|
|
6.After completion or part completion of the assigned work, the area/site is required to be cleaned & cleared from all construction/ serviceable/non-serviceable materials like debris, unusable materials etc.
7.All serviceable materials taken out from site under this contract shall be stacked properly at site and the same shall be deposited to civil store in township as per instruction of EIC.
8.Completion period of the work shall be 06(six) months.
9.Defect liability period for this work shall be 12 months.
10.SINCE IT IS A REPAIR/ MINOR CONST. WORK, HENCE OVERALL VARIATION MAY BE (+/-) 20% (TWENTY PERCENT)OF THE CONTRACT VALUE.
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

a) The bidder should have executed civil work including brick work.
b) The bidder should have executed similar work ( as per para 9(a)) during last seven (7) years ending last day of the month previous to one in which bids are opened as any of the following :-
(i) One similar executed work of value not less than Rs. 7.50 lacs.
OR
(ii) Two similar executed works of value not less than Rs. 4.50 lacs each.
OR
(iii) Three similar executed works of value not less than Rs. 4.00 lacs each.
c) The |

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
