3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the

stipulated bid	submission closing	date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security
and Integrity	Pact (if applicable)	shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site

(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the			bidder would require
vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained	by submitting a questionnaire		available at our SRM
site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not		allotted any vendor code are required to
approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale	Close date	alongwith duly filled in questionnare for
issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

SCOPE OF WORK

Description: REMOVAL,SUPPLY & ERECTION OF BOILER (210 MW) ROOF SHEETING OF UNIT-1

(1). SUPPLY OF ROOF SHEETS AS PER MATERIAL SPECIFICATION.

(2). TRANSPORTATION OF SHEET UPTO SITE FROM MANUFACTURER WORKS.STACKING OF SHEET IN PROPER WAY AT SITE.

(3). ERECTION OF SCAFFOLDING AS PER REQUIREMENT AT DIFFERENT ELEVATIONS. AGENCY HAS TO ENSURE BOILER IS TO BE COVERED WITH NYLON SAFETY NET WHEREVER REQUIRED FOR SAFETY.

(4). REMOVAL OF OLD / DAMAGE GI SHEET IN PROPER AND SAFE CONDITION.

(5). FIXING OF NEW SHEET UPTO BOILER (210 MW) ROOF-56 MTR ELEVATION.

(6). WELDING OF BRACING, SUPPORT WILL BE DONE BY AGENCY AS PER REQUIREMENT.

(7). SHIFITING OF OLD/ DAMAGED GI SHEET FROM SITE TO CENTRAL STORE/SCRAP YARD.

(8). REMOVAL/SHIFTING OF OTHER SCRAPS FROM SITE.

( 9). ALL T CLAMPS,STICHING SCREWS,SEALS,WASHER,FASTENER,FLASHING & CAPPINGS AND ANY OTHER FIXING ARRANGEMENTS REQUIRED SHALL BE IN THE SCOPE OF AGENCY.

Roof Sheeting Material Specification:

SPECIFICATION: Continuously pre-painted galvanized steel sheets to specification IS:14246 As per following requirements Base Material -Mild steel as per IS-513.

Nominal thickness (Base Metal Thickness Without Coating)-0.63 MM, Â

Galvanizing: The base metal shall be galvanized with minimum grade of zinc coating 275 grams / sq.m as per IS:277 Top Side Paint: Top side coating shall be 20 microns minimum of Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP) painting.

Bottom Side paint: Bottom side coating shall be 7 microns minimum of Silicon modified polyester (SMP) painting. Durability of paint coating: As per Class-2 of 14246

The sheet should have 980-1000 mm cover width having 28-30mm high crest at 195-200 mm pitch and in between there should have two small stiffening ribs.

	However	the color of sheet shall be decided after placement of purchase order.Agency shall take details from
EIC with catalouge.After Clearance by EIC material shall be dispatched.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Desc	:	REMOVAL, SUPPLY & ERECTION OF BOILER ROOF SHEETING OF UNIT-1

(1). Atleast one sufficiently experienced and qualified supervisor should be kept by agency always for this contract exclusively to take instruction from EIC on day to day basis.

(2). Arrangement for lighting at work place is to be made by the contractor. He has to arrange all lighting accessories like 220 bulb, 24V bulb, cables fittings, extension board for 24 V transformers etc. He has to arrange TPN board for welding equipments also.

(3). Contractor shall have no claim for idle time, due to any reason what so ever.

(4). All the required safety procedure is to be followed by contractor, Safety of the people working on the job will be

responsibility of agency. The contractor should have necessary experience to work at		height. Agency should provide all
the safety gadgets like safety belts, helmet, safety shoes	etc. to their workers at their own cost.
(5). Contractor should have valid labor insurance and license, certificates as per the act.
(6). Agency should provide all the safety gadget slide safety belts, helmet, safety shoe		etc. to their	workers	at their own
cost.
(7). This is the responsibility of contractor to deploy	the manpower as per the job	requirement,	specially	working at
height up to 56 meters.
(8). Welder should be approved by NTPC FQA/EIC.

( 9). All materials e.g. Sheets, accessories, fasteners & clamps, safety nets and any other equipments etc. and scaffolding material required for erection of roof sheeting shall be arranged by the agency at their own cost.

(9). All required manpower for Scaffolding erection shall be arranged by the agency. (10). All the T&P and consumable should be arranged by agency at their own cost.

(11). All necessary arrangement (materials, scaffolding, tools & plants, labors etc.) for working at all levels and heights up to boiler top 56 meters. as required for proper completion of work shall have to be made by the agency at their own cost. Nothing shall be paid extra on these accounts.

(12).Agency shall use proper T clamps and other fitting accessories for boiler roofing and other and other area weather protection sheeting similar to Unit#2.if required agency may see the site. All such accessories e.g. flashing and

capping,working drawings are in scope of agency.

(13). Agency should be manufacturer of this sheet or they have tie up the manufacturer. Agency should submit this detail

with material specification along with offer for approval. All material shall	be of approved	quality as	IS specification and
the same is required to be got checked and approved from NTPC before start of work.
(14).The material supply and erection of roof sheeting in boiler will be	carried out by	the same	agency as aforesaid
Scope of Work.

(15).Payment of material and services will be released together on basis of area measurement of erected roof sheeting in Boiler accordingly.

(16). Party should get dispatch clearance certificate before dispatch of material i.e. PDI shall be done at agency works. Agency should give PDI call to NTPC well in advance.

(17). Completion period: Total completion period will be ONE year. (18). Defect liability period: 03 Months from work completion date.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

(a)The bidder should have executed

the work

of

removal

and/

or

erection

of boiler

roof sheeting in

a

Thermal

Power

Plant with a unit capacity of 200 MW or more.

(b)The bidder should have executed

similar

[as

per para

6(a)]

during

the

last 7( seven) years ending last day of the

month of previous to one

in which

bids are opened as any of

the

following:-

(i)

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have	any claim arising out of such
action.
