"MAKE IN INDIA" INITIATIVE

The Government of India is in the process of developing a far-reaching strategy to boost the share of Solar Power in India’s Power sector by massive capacity addition through development of Ultra Mega Solar Power parks across the country in near future. In pursuance of the Government of India's initiative, NTPC Limited, a Government of India Enterprise and India's largest Power Company with current generating capacity of more than 43,000 MW plans to make a significant foray into the field of Solar PV projects in coming years.

In line with Government's "Make in India" initiative, NTPC invites Expression of

Interest (EOI) from Agencies who are willing to setup and develop manufacturing facilities in India for manufacturing of Crystalline Silicon (Csi) Solar PV Cells and/or Wafers required for CSi Solar PV Cells and/or Ingots required for CSi Solar PV cells and/or Polysilicon required for Ingots either by itself or through its subsidiaries or Joint Ventures (JV) in India.

Agencies may download the EOI document free of cost from www.ntpctender.com and submit their ‘Expression of Interest’ along with relevant details as specified in the EOI document on or before 28.10.2014.
