1.0NTPC Kawas invites request from eligible bidders for DESIGN, MANUFACTRING, RETROFITTING, TESTING & COMMISSIONING OF 03 (THREE) SETS OF DIGITAL VOLTAGE REGULATORS through e- tendering without reverse auctioning as per the scope of work briefly mentioned at para 4.0 below:

3.0Qualifying Requirements:

3.1.a The bidder should have designed, manufactured, tested, supplied and commissioned at least Two (02) numbers of AVR system of Brushless Excitation type with dual channel DVR for 116 MW or more Turbo Generator (Connected to Regional Grid) in India as per IEC/IEE standards, which are in successful operation for not less than Two (02) years as on date of technical bid opening. Bidder shall submit documentary evidence (Client Certificate) in support of satisfactory operation of the equipment and self certification regarding design, manufacturing and testing.

3.1.b The bidder should have complete set up for testing and maintenance of equipment in India. Bidder should also be able to give after sales, spares support and service support for a minimum period of Ten (10) years from the date of commissioning of the DVR. Bidder should produce self undertaking in support of meeting this qualifying requirement. NTPC shall have right to visit such facilities for evaluating this QR criteria.

3.2.a The average Annual Turnover in the preceding three (03) completed financial years as on date of technical bid opening shall not be less than Rs.133 lakhs.

3.2.b The bidder must have executed similar order as follows:

- Single order of Rs.213 Lacs OR

- Two orders of Rs.133 Lacs each OR

- Three orders of Rs.106 Lacs each.

Note:

i)The term similar order means supply of AVR system of any rating and any type.

ii)The word executed means the bidders should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even if the total contract is not completed/closed and the same shall be supported by documentary evidences.

4.0Brief scope of work:

The scope covers design, manufacturing, supply, retrofitting, testing and commissioning of three(3) sets of Microprocessor based Brushless Automatic Digital Voltage Regulator (DVR) system (including all control and power circuit) for the Generators (2x134 MVA gas turbine generator and 1x145MVA steam turbine generator) at NTPC Kawas.

5.0A Complete set of bidding Document may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non- refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned at Para 2.0 above directly through the payment gateway at our SRM site, (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require Vendor Code and SRM user Id and Password. First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least Seven working days prior to Document Sale Close date for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password. Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

6.0Tender documents are Non transferable. Only the bidder, in whose name the tender documents are downloaded, is allowed to submit offer. No bidder other than the original bidder in whose name the tender documents are sold / downloaded, can submit the offer.
