NOTICE INVITING TENDER

FOR

SUPPLY OF DESKTOP PC AT BARH STPP

(Domestic Competitive Bidding)

1.0 NTPC invites bids from eligible Bidders for DESKTOP PC, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned at para 6.0 below:

3.0 Bid Security, in original, for the requisite amount as stipulated above shall be submitted prior to stipulated bid submission, closing date and time at the address given herein below. If Bid Security in hard copy, in a separate sealed cover is not received or bids for which Bid Security of inadequate value is received the same shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall not be opened.

4.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the invitation for bids/IFB without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have claim arising out of such action.

5.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned at 2.0 above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. 6.0 Brief Scope of Work

SUCCESSFUL VENDOR HAS TO SUPPLY THE

1.DESK TOP PC - TYPE: CORE-i5-4570 ,SPEED: 3.2 GHZ WITH WINDOWS 8 PROFESSIONAL 64- BIT OS, MONITOR: TFT-19", RAM: 8GB AND 05 YEARS COMPREHENSIVE OEM ON-SITE WARRANTY

The detailed scope of work is given in the Bidding Documents

7.0 Qualifying Requirements of Bidders:

1.The bidder should be manufacturer of PCs having facility in India using their own manufactured or Intel's mother board

OR

The bidder should be a Subsidiary/ authorised partner of the OEM as above on date of opening of Techno - Commercial bid..The bidder should be duly authorised by the OEM for this tender

2. The bidder should have Microsoft OEM certification for preloading of Window Opening System

3.The average annual turn over of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the

date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs.35332000.00

4.The bidder should have successfully executed supply of either of the following purchase order(P.O) in

the preceding five(05) years as on the date of bid opening to meet either of the following criteria.

(a) Three similar orders valuing not less than Rs.35.33 Lac( Rupees Thirty five lac thirty three thousand only )

each

OR

(b) Two similar orders valuing not less than Rs.44.17 Lac( Rupees forty four lac seventeen thousand only) each

OR

( c ) One similar order valuing not less than Rs.70.66 Lac ( Rupees seventy lac sixty six thousand only)

Note:-

(i) Similar Order Means :- Supply of PCs

(ii)Complete Order Value means:- Value of actually executed portion of an order and not the order value

In case of purchase order under execution as on date of bid opening, the value of purchase order completed

till date of bid opening will be considered the value of executed order as certified by employer.

(iii)Not with standing anything stated above, the employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities &

capacity of the bidder/his collaborators/associates/subsidiaries/group companies as case may be to perform

the contract, should be the circumstances warrant such assessment in over all interest of employer

4.Bidder should have PAN , VAT and CST registration Certificate

5.The bidder must submit the following documents details of order, proof of execution, audited balance sheets

last three years, VAT registration, CST registration,PAN etc. to establish their credential in line of the

qualifying requirements.
