-Single Stage two part on-line bidding through SRM module of E-procurement system, i.e. Part-1 should be consisting of technical bid along with Earnest Money Deposit. Bid Part- II consists of Price/Commercial Bid.
-Price Bids will be opened of those bidders only who will qualify in Bid Part-I
-Tender shall be processed through SRM Module i.e. e-procurement system. Tenderer must sent the enclosed format of e-procurement duly filled in all the information sought in the format.
2.0PRE QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR ISSUE OF BID DOCUMENTS:
2.1The bidder should have designed, supplied & commissioned at least two nos. DIGITAL VOLTAGE REGULATOR with PSS of 500 MW (or above capacity) Generator Brushless Excitation System for Thermal Plant within last seven (7) years in India as on date of bid opening.
2.2The bidder shall submit performance report of such orders for 500 MW (or above capacity) Generator brushless excitation system, which are in successful operation in India since last two years as on date of bid opening.
2.3The bidder should have executed within 7 years from the date of bid opening having minimum contract value as indicated below:-
a)Three executed/completed orders, as above, of the cost not less than Rs. 47.00 lakh each.
OR
b) Two executed/completed orders, as above, of cost not less than Rs. 59.00 lakh each.
OR
2.4The average annual financial turnover of the bidder in three preceding completed financial years as on the date of bid opening should be at least Rs. 236 lakh.

3.0General Conditions:
3.1.Small Scale Industries (S.S.I) registered with the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) shall be exempted from payment of Tender fee/ Earnest Money deposit. Bidders seeking exemption should enclose a photocopy of valid registration certificate preferably attested by Gazetted Officer/Magistrate 1st Class giving details such as validity, Stores, monetary limit etc. failing which they run the risk of their bids being passed over as ineligible for this concession. SSI units registered with UPSSIDC are also entitled for exemption of Tender fee/ Earnest Money deposit.
3.2The detailed specification of the item is mentioned in the tender documents.
3.3The last date for sale of tender documents is 20.08.2014
The last date & time for receipt of Bid 05.09.2014 at 14.30 hrs. Technical Bid Opening date & time 05.09.2014 at 15.00 hrs.
3.4NTPC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason or split the tender/deviate from quantities indicated.
3.5Intending Bidders can download complete tender documents from website itself, at a click of keyboard of their desktop, after making online payment of document cost via their credit card at our website www.ntpctender.com on or before 20.08.2014 SSL mode of transaction from ICICI bank is used by NTPC for secured online payment at the website to avoid any forgery.
Vendor should be a registered user of the website to download the bid document after online payment.
Note: Pop up blocker should be turned off & file download should be enabled in the Net browser settings of desktop for downloading the bid document from the website.
The offer will have to be submitted strictly as per terms & conditions of tender and same should reach us on or before BOD and time.
3.6. This NIT may be considered for enlistment of vendors for future requirement.
