1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) in a separate envelop shall be rejected by the employer as being non-responsive by the employer and returned to the bidders without being opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at PATNA or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least Five working days prior to Document Sale Close date along with duly filled in questionnaire for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific details #

Scope of work comprises of Supply of Personal Computers & UPS as per specifications, installation, data migration and maintenance during Warranty as per tender document . Qty # 30 nos. PCs and 30 nos. UPS (for ER-IHQ,PATNA).

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.The bidder should be a Manufacturer of PCs having facility in India for manufacture of PCs using either their own manufactured or Intel’s motherboards.

Or

2.The bidder should be a Subsidiary / Authorized Partner of the OEM as above as on the date of opening of Techno-commercial proposal. Such bidder should be duly authorized by the OEM for this tender, in the prescribed Format.

3.The OEM should have following certifications:

i)Should have valid ISO 9001 certification.

ii)Should have Microsoft OEM certification for preloading of Windows Operating System. 4) ) The OEM should have a national / Global existence for the last 5 years.

5. OEM should have annual sales of at least 90,000 units of PCs for any of the two preceding financial years.

6.The bidder should have executed any one of the following Similar Works in India in the preceding five years as on the date of opening of Techno-Commercial Bid opening.

One work of value not less than Rs15.74 Lakhs.

OR

Two works of value not less than Rs.9.84 Lakhs each.

OR

Three works of value not less than of Rs. 7.86 Lakhs each.

7. The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of opening of Techno Commercial Bid should not be less than Rs 157.39 Lakhs.

Note:

i)'Similar' works above means any work which includes supply of Intel based Desktops.

ii)The work "executed" mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/closed.

iii)While computing the annual turn over, other income shall not be considered.

PAGE-3/3 iv) For fulfillment of Point No.7.0( 4 ), vendor has to provide Memorandum/ article of association/ certificate of incorporation and registration with concerned authority.

v) Notwithstanding anything stated above, the employer reserve the right to assess the Capability & capacity of the bidder , should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of the Employer.

General Notes #

1)#Exemption from furnishing of EMD/Tender Fee shall be granted to the firms registered with NSIC or with Small Scale Industries provided the monitory limit fixed by NSIC/SSI authority is not below the quoted value, on submission of proof of eligibility.

Details given below:-

a)SSI units of Bihar / SSI units (of other states) registered with the National Small Scale Industries Corporation shall be exempted from the payment of Earnest Money Deposit/ Tender Fee. Bidders seeking exemption should submit a Photocopy of valid registration certificate preferably attested by Notary / Gazetted Officer/ Magistrate 1st class, giving details such as validity, stores etc.

b)If the validity of the certificate has expired or the stores items not matching with the tendered items run the risk of their tenders being passed over as ineligible for this concession/exemption.

c)In case of any doubt on eligibility of such exemption/concession, bidder may get clarification from NTPC official before submission of his bid.

2)#Integrity Pact is not applicable in this tender.

3)# Detailed specification and Scope of Work are given in the bidding documents, which are available for examination and sale at the NTPC Website and as per schedule. 4)#Tender documents are non-transferable.

5)#NTPC will not be responsible for any delay/loss/damage or non-receipt of documents.

8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
