FOR “SEISMIC INSTRUMENTS FOR SEISMIC OBSERVATORY STATIONS" PACKAGE FOR KOLDAM HYDROELECTRIC POWER PROJECT (4X200 MW), IN DISTRICT BILASPUR, STATE OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, INDIA

II.The Subject Meeting will be done on an interactive basis where the participants will be introduced to the Technical Details/ Requirements of the subject package and any Technical queries or any other clarifications regarding upcoming Tender (Vide International Competitive Bidding) for the subject package, will be addressed.
IIIBRIEF SCOPE OF WORK
The Brief Scope of Work for the subject Package includes Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance of Seismic Instruments for Seismic Observatory Station Package for Koldam Hydro Electric Power Project (4x200 MW) as specified in Technical Specifications.
IV. NTPC intends to finance the subject Package through Own Sources.
V.DEEMED EXPORT BENEFITS
Vendors may note that Bids for "Seismic Instruments for Seismic Observatory Stations" Package for Koldam Hydroelectric Power Project (4X200 MW) are being invited on International Competitive Bidding (ICB) basis. As such, the domestic supplier of Capital Goods and Spares for this Package may be eligible for certain Deemed Export Benefits subject to fulfillment of conditions as per extant Foreign Trade Policy of Govt. of India. Bidders may like to ascertain the availability of such benefits which they consider in their Bid as they themselves shall be responsible for obtaining the same.
VI. QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR BIDDERS
A.The following Qualification requirements are to be fulfilled for eligibility for participation in tendering for the subject work.
1.0The Average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on date of bid opening shall not be less than INR 252.18 Lakhs.
1.1The bidder should have sucessfully completed/executed either of the following works during the last 07 (seven) years reckoned from the date of bid opening:
*One similar completed/executed work costing not less than INR 202.00 Lakhs.
or
* Two similar completed/executed works costing not less than INR 126.00 Lakhs. or
* Three similar completed/executed works costing not less than INR 101.00
Lakhs.
Similar works means "The bidder should have supplied, installed and commissioned seismic observatories with VSAT Telemetry network communication facilities having minimum three stations with operating software. The above system should be in successful operation for at least two years as on date of bid opening
1.2 In case the bidder have adequate facility for maintenance of seismic instruments for seismic observatory stations in India and does not meet the criteria at 1.1 above, he can also participate provided he associates with party who meets the criteria at 1.1 above.
In such a case, the bidder shall furnish an undertaking, jointly executed by him and his associates for satisfactory execution of subject work as per NTPC format enclosed in bid documents. This joint deed of undertaking shall be submitted along with the bid, failing which the bidder may be disqualified and his bid shall be rejected. In case of award, the Associate will be required to furnish an on demand bank guarantee as per format enclosed with the bid documents for a value equal to 5.0% of the total contract price in addition to the Performance Security to be furnished by the bidder.
