1.0 NTPC Limited, a Maharatna Status Public Sector undertaking invites bids for Supply of "Desk Cum Benches" its Kudgi Super Thermal Power Project at Kudgi/Telgi/Golasangi/Masuti/ nearby villages of kudgi; Po.Kudgi Tq.Basavana Bagewadi, dist. Bijapur Karnataka State. The tendering process will be off line/ Manual.

a. Sale of Bid Documents: Starts on 20.06.2014 up to and closes on 10.07.2014 17.00 hrs

8.0 QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS (QRs) FOR BIDDERS:

NTPC-Kudgi/TS/QR/12 27.02.2014

Sub: Qualification requirements for floating Tender for" PROVIDING CLASS ROOM DESK CUM

BENCHES. AT KUDGI STPP"

NAME OF THE JOB/DETAILS OF PROCUREMENT: "PROCUREMENT OF CLASS ROOM DESK CUM BENCHES.

OMLETION OF PERIOD: 6 Months

1.0The Bidder who wishes to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that he fulfils the Qualifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:

a. The Bidder should have executed the cotracts for 'MANUFACTURING/ SUPPLY OF STUDENT BENCH CUM TABLES' for the following contract values in past seven (7) years ending on 28.02.2014:

a.i. Single Executed/Completed Contract Value of not less than Rs. 8 Lakhs.

a.ii.Two Executed/Completed contracts of each having value not less than Rs. 5 Lakhs.

a.iii.Three Executed/Completed contracts of each having value not less than Rs. 4 Lakhs.

2. Financial Criteria:

a. The average annual Turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on 28.02.2014 shall not be less than INR Rs. 20 Lakhs (Rupees Twenty lacks only).

b. The Bidder has to furnish audited financial statements in support of turn over. In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

NOTES:

Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

The word 'executed' means that the bidder should have achieved the progress specified in the QR even if the total contract is not completed/closed.

A period of six months may be given to the party for completion of work in line with the period indicated in PR.

"Suppliers of school furniture" has been incorporated in QR to improve participation in bidding for supply of "Desk cum Benchs".
