1.0NTPC invites e - bids from eligible Bidders for SUPPLY OF 2000MM STEEL CORD CONVEYOR BELT, FR6/5 AT BARH STPP, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned at para 6.0 below:

3.0Bid Security/EMD, in original, for the requisite amount as stipulated above shall be submitted prior to stipulated bid submission, closing date and time at the address given herein below. If Bid

Security in hard copy, in a separate sealed cover is not received or bids for which Bid Security of inadequate value is received the same shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall not be opened.

4.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the invitation for bids/IFB without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have claim arising out of such action.

5.0A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned at 2.0 above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at SBI, NTPC Campus Branch, Br Code – 10085 or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart).

For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date along with duly filled in questionnaire and the requisite demand draft for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password. Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified

6.0Brief Scope of Work

SUCCESSFUL VENDOR HAS TO SUPPLY THE SUPPLY OF 2000MM STEEL CORD

CONVEYOR BELT, FR6/5 AT BARH STPP.

The detailed scope of work is given in the Bidding Documents which are available at our SRM site as per the schedule given above.

7.0Qualifying Requirements of Bidders:

In addition to requirements stipulated under Section "Instructions To Bidders"(ITB), the Bidder shall also meet the Qualifying Requirements stipulated hereunder:

7.1.The Bidder should either be a company Registered under the companies Act 1956 or a Partnership / Proprietorship firm.

7.2.The Bidder should be regular manufacturer of Steel Cord Conveyor Belts of Width 2000mm OR aboveas per IS - 1891(Part-v):1993.

7.3.The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs.2.91 crore (Rupee Two crore Ninety One Lakh only).

7.4.The bidder should have successfully executed similar purchase order (P.O.) during last seven years as on the date of the bid opening with either of the following:-

(a) Three similar orders valuing not less than Rs.87.36 Lakh ( Rupees Eighty Seven lakh Thirty Six thousand only)

(b) Two similar orders valuing not less than Rs.1.09 Crore ( Rupees One Crore Nine lakh only)

( c ) One similar order valuing not less than Rs.1.75 Crore ( Rupees One Crore Seventy Five Lakh only)

Note:-

(i)Similar Order Means :- Supply of SUPPLY OF 2000MM wide or above, STEEL CONVETOR BELT, FR 6/5”.

(ii)Complete Order Value means:- Value of actually executed portion of an order and not the order value.

In case of purchase order under execution as on date of bid opening, the value of purchase order completed till date of bid opening will be considered the value of executed order as certified by employer.

(iii) Not withstanding anything stated above, the employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities & capacity of the bidder/his collaborators/associates/subsidiaries/group companies as case may be to perform the contract, should be the circumstances warrant such assessment in over all interest of employer.

7.5.The Bidder should have in-house testing facilities necessary for carrying out Pre- Dispatch Inspection (PDI) as per NTPC Approved Quality Plan.

7.6.Bidder should have valid PAN, VAT and CST registration Certificate

7.7. The Bidder must submit the following documents: Details of order, proof of execution, audited balance sheets last three years, VAT registration, CST registration, PAN to establish their credential in line with the qualifying requirements.
