NOTE:

1.    QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

 

The bidder should:

   

a)  Have an average annual turn-over not less than '56.96 Lacs during the last Three (03) Financial Years ending with March, 2013.

 

b) Have executed directly under owner (i.e. end-user) or under 'PSU or its Joint Venture Company'/'Govt or Semi-Govt department', at least one work of "Electrical Maintenance / Electrical Erection & Commissioning" of Transformers having high voltage rating of 132KV (HV/LV) or above' for any industry during the last Seven (7) Years ending with the last date of the month preceding to the month of publication of NIT.

 

c) Have executed directly under owner (i.e. end user) or under 'PSU or its Joint Venture Company' / 'Govt. or Semi Govt. Department', the work(s) of "Electrical Maintenance / Electrical Erection & Commissioning" in any industry during the last Seven (7) Years ending with the last date of the month preceding to the month of publication of NIT for the contract values mentioned below:

 

One (01) work of value not less than '45.57 Lacs.

                          (or)

Two (02) works each of value not less than '28.48 Lakhs.         

                                                (or)

Three (03) works each of value not less than '22.78 Lakhs.

 

d)    Have Independent P.F. Code No. allotted by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner.

 

e)  Should have a valid 'A' Grade Electrical License.

 

2)     Last date for receipt of request for tender documents is   28/05/2014.

 

3)     Application for each work shall be made to AGM (Contract Services) at the address furnished below.  Demand Draft drawn in favour of NTPC Ltd., payable at STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD, RAMAGUNDAM for '900/- (Non-refundable) is to be attached to the application.  Incase the bidder desires the tender documents by post, the bank draft for '950/- including '50/- towards the cost of postage charges, shall be sent to AGM (CS), NTPC Ltd., Jyothinagar - 505 215, Karimnagar Dist. (A.P).  MONEY ORDER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  NTPC will not take responsibility for loss or delay of tender documents, routed through post.

 

(a)  Small scale Industries registered with the National Small Scale Industries Corpn. shall be exempted from payment of tender cost / Earnest Money Deposit. SSI units registered with APSSIDC are also entitled for exemption of EMD / Tender cost. Such parties can sent the request for Tender Documents along with copy of certificate self attested.

 

(b)   Small scale Industries registered with NSIC / APSSIDC shall be exempted from payment of Security Deposit up to the monetary limit for which the unit is registered with NSIC / APSSIDC.

 

(c)   Tenderers seeking exemption should enclose a photocopy of valid Registration certificate giving details such as validity, stores and monetary limits, failing which they run the risk of their tenders being passed over as ineligible for this concession.

 

4)     As a proof of meeting the qualifying requirements the following documents will be required to be submitted in the Technical Bid.

Legible copies of the following documents duly signed by the authorized representative of the bidder are to be submitted in support of the qualifying requirement along with technical bid.

 

a)      (i) Award letter / Work Order with bill of quantities (ii) proof of value of work executed as mentioned at (b) below

 

b)     Documentary evidence issued by the employer as proof of value of work executed clearly indicating (i) the executed value of the work and (ii) period (giving start date and end date) during which the work has been executed, in the form of job completion certificate / final deviation order / copies of measurement book (R/A bills). An employer means Government / Large Industrial Organisations / Public Sector Enterprises.

 

c)      Copies of Balance sheet and Profit & Loss Account as audited by a practicing Chartered Accountant OR Certificate of Turnover issued by a  practicing Chartered Accountant clearly indicating the Books / Records / Documents on basis of which certificated is issued. 

 

d)     The Bidder shall indicate on copies of credentials (copies of the work orders and performance / completion certificates from Govt. / PSU / Organisations as specified in the Qualifying requirements, The condition a), b), c), d) & e) of Qualifying Requirements against which the credential is being submitted may be indicated on the document.

 

Original documents for verifications shall be produced as and when called for.

 

Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.

 

Bid documents will be issued to all intending bidders. However, such issue of Bid Documents will not automatically mean that parties are considered qualified. Such   qualification will be examined at the time of opening of the Technical bids and Commercial bids (Price bids) of only those meeting the Qualifying requirements shall be opened.

 

A Complete set of Bidding documents may be obtained by any interested bidder on submission of a written application and payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents, as mentioned at Clause 3.0 above, in the form of a crossed Account payee Demand Draft in favour of NTPC Limited., Ramagundam payable at State Bank of Hyderabad, Ramagundam.

 

The bidding Documents may also be downloaded from http://www.ntpctender.com on registration and online payment (non-refundable) towards cost of bidding documents and the

 downloaded documents can be used for bidding purpose.

 

In case the registered bidders who have downloaded the bidding documents require an additional manual copy of the documents then such bidders shall be required to purchase the manual copy of the bidding documents following the procedure detailed above.

 

Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered qualified.  Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address given below in the presence of bidder's representatives who choose to attend.

 

Sealed tender shall be received at our Office at the address furnished below upto 11:00 A.M on the Bid Opening date and opened on the same day at 11:30 A.M in the presence of available Tenderers or their authorised representative, who may like to be present.

 

5)        Incase the date of opening happens to be a HOLIDAY, the tender shall be received and opened on the next working day at the same time. 

 

6)        The Earnest Money & Tender should be submitted in separately sealed & superscribed envelopes.  BIDS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY THE REQUISITE EARNEST MONEY IN ACCEPTABLE FORMATS ARE LIABLE FOR REJECTION.

 

7)        Not with standing anything stated above, NTPC reserve the right to assess bidder's            capability and capacity to perform the contract, should the circumstance warrant such assessment in overall interest of the owner.

 

8)        NTPC reserve the right to reject or accept any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.
