NOTICE INVITING TENDER

FOR

SUPPLY OF R-22& R-134 GAS AT BARH STPP

(Domestic Competitive Bidding)

1.0  NTPC invites bids from eligible Bidders for  FERON(R-22) GAS & R-134A REFRIGERANT GAS FOR AC SYSTEM,BARH STPP, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned at para 6.0 below:

3.0 Bid Security, in original, for the requisite amount as stipulated above shall be submitted prior to stipulated bid submission, closing date and time at the address given herein below. If Bid Security in hard copy, in a separate sealed cover is not received or bids for which Bid Security of inadequate value is received the same shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall not be opened.

4.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the invitation for bids/IFB without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have claim arising out of such action.

5.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned at 2.0 above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at Not Given. 6.0       Brief Scope of Work

SUCCESSFUL VENDOR HAS TO SUPPLY THE

1.FREON -22 GAS FOR REFRIGERATION PURPOSE - 1830 KG

2.REFRIGERANT R-134A GAS -915.00KG

       The detailed scope of work is given in the Bidding Documents

7.0            Qualifying Requirements of Bidders:

1.The vendor should either manufacturer or authorised agent/dealer  of R-22 & R-134A 

    REFRIGERATION GAS  

2.The average annual turn over of the bidder in the  preceding three financial years as on the 

   date of bid  opening shall not be less than Rs.48,99,752.00(Rupee Forty  eight  lac  ninety nine

   thousand   seven hundred fifty two only)  

3.The bidder should have successfully executed supply  of  either of the following order value  in      

   the   preceding  07 years on the date of bid opening..

  (a) Three similar orders valuing not less than Rs.4.90 Lac( Rupees four lac ninety thousand only)

                                                            OR

  (b) Two similar orders valuing not less than  Rs.6.12 Lac( Rupees six lac twelve thousand only

                                                             OR

 ( c ) One similar order valuing not less than Rs. 9.80 Lac ( Rupees  nine lac eighty thousand only)

 Note:-    

(i)Similar Order Means :- Manufacturing and supply of R-22 & R-134A REFRIGERATION GAS

(ii)Complete Order Value means:- Value of actually executed portion of an order and not the order value

 In case of purchase order  under execution as on date of bid opening, the value of purchase order  

completed till date of bid opening will be considered the value of executed order as certified by employer.

(iii)Not with standing anything stated above, the employer reserves the right to assess the capabilities &capacity of the bidder/his collaborators/associates/subsidiaries/group companies as case may be to  perform the contract, should be the circumstances warrant such assessment in over all interest of employer

4.Bidder should have PAN , VAT and CST registration Certificate

5.The bidder must submit  the following documents  details of order, proof of execution, audited balance  sheets last three years, VAT registration, CST registration,PAN  etc. to establish their credential  in line with  the qualifying requirements.
