VENDOR ENLISTMENT NOTICE: Rh/Pur/VE/2013-002  Date: 31.01.2013

1.0          NTPC-Rihand wishes to enlist / register capable vendors for OPC/PPC Cement for next three years. For this NTPC seeks applications from eligible Manufacturers only.

2.0          Technical Specifications:

§  OPC CEMENT:     43 grade OPC conforming to IS: 8112-1989,: Packing-50 Kgs.

§  PPC CEMENT:     Fly ash based PPC shall conform to IS: 1489 Part-I with 28 days                                            

                           compressive strength not less than 43 MPa.

3.0       Qualifying requirement:

3.1      Bidder must be a Manufacturer of OPC / PPC quality of Cement

3.2      Average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) financial years as on     

                 the date of bid opening should not be less than Rs. 1924.36 lacs.

Notes:

1. Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
2. In cases where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing chartered accountant shall also be considered acceptable.

4.0          Application should be submitted alongwith the application fee of Rs. 550.00 through Bank Draft / Pay Order / Banker's Cheque in favour of NTPC Ltd, Rihand payable at State Bank of India (Branch Code: 7523) or Union Bank of India (Branch Code: 550116).

SME / Small Scale Industries registered with the National Small Scale Industries Corporation (NSIC) under single point registration scheme and SSI units registered in UP shall be exempted from payment of Application fee. Vendors seeking exemption should enclose a self certified legible copy of valid registration certificate preferably attested.

5.0                  Following documents are to be furnished alongwith the application for enlistment.

a)     Proof of being manufacturer of OPC/PPC quality of Cement.

b)    Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss A/C and other documents with regard to turn over for the financial years i.e. 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14.

6.0          The application should be superscribed with "VENDOR ENLISTMENT FOR CEMENT" on the envelope and "Tender No.".

7.0          The application completed in all respects alongwith Bank Draft/Pay Order /Banker's Cheque should be sent to

8.0          Application fees include the sales tax.

9.0          NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.

10.0        Last date of receipt of application with enclosures will be 28.05.2014, 3pm.

11.0        NTPC will not be responsible for postal delay.
