1.0    NTPC  invites application for issue of tender documents for supply of following items:-

2.0       PRE QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT FOR ISSUE OF BID DOCUMENTS:

2.1                  The Bidder should be a manufacturer of Heavy Duty Black LDPE Polythene Sheets conforming to IS: 2508-1984.  

2.2                  The bidder should have manufactured and supplied  Heavy Duty Black LDPE Polythene Sheets during last 7 years ending last day of the month previous to the date of bid opening having minimum contract value as indicated below:-

a)                  Three executed/completed order, as above, of   cost not less than 4.8 Lakh each.

OR

b)                  Two executed/completed order, as above, of cost not less than Rs. 6.0 Lakh each.

                                                                                                OR

c)                  One executed/completed order, as above, of cost not less than Rs. 9.6 Lakh.

Bidder will have to submit Purchase Order copies and execution proof in support

of above.

2.3                   The average annual financial turnover of the bidder in three preceding   completed financial years as on the date of bid opening date should be at least Rs. 24.0 lacs.

3.0    General Conditions:

3.1.      Request for issue of Tender Documents shall be made to AGM (Matls) at the address given   below against remittance of tender  fee  by  Demand  Draft  in  favour  of  M/s  NTPC  Ltd. payable at Union Bank of India (Code No.541486) or State Bank of India  (Code No.5767), Shaktinagar (UP).

3.2. Small  Scale  Industries (S.S.I)   registered  with  the National  Small  Industries  Corporation

(NSIC) shall be exempted from payment of Tender fee/ Earnest Money deposit. Bidders  seeking exemption should enclose a photocopy of valid registration certificate preferably attested by Gazetted Officer/Magistrate 1st Class giving details such as validity, Stores, monetary limit etc. failing which they run the risk of their bids being passed over as ineligible for this concession. SSI units registered with UPSSIDC are also entitled for exemption of Tender fee/ Earnest Money deposit.

3.3    The detailed specification of the item is mentioned in the tender documents.

3.4         The last date for  receipt of request for tender documents is  15.04.2014 and  the  Technical Bid    Opening Date is  01.05.2014.

3.5     Bid documents shall be issued to intending bidders on request. However, issuance of Bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered qualified. Pre Qualification of intending bidders as per Sl. No. 2.0 shall be examined at the time of bid evaluation.

3.6     NTPC will not be responsible in any way for late receipt of request for tender documents/tender due to any postal delay or delay in any form in transit.

3.7    The bids shall be opened on the date and time mentioned in the tender documents in the presence of bidders.

3.8     NTPC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reason or split the tender/ deviate from quantities indicated.

3.9    Intending Bidders can download complete tender documents from website itself, at a click of keyboard of their desktop, after making online payment of document cost via their credit card at our website www.ntpctender.com on or before 15.04.2014   SSL mode of transaction from ICICI bank is used by NTPC for secured online payment at the website to avoid any forgery.

Vendor should be a registered user of the website to download the bid document after online payment.

Note: Pop up blocker should be turned off & file download should be enabled in the Net browser settings of desktop for downloading the bid document from the website.

The offer will have to be submitted strictly as per terms & conditions of tender and same should reach us on or before BOD and time.

3.10.   This NIT may be considered for enlistment of vendors for future requirement.
