SUB: - QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR VENDOR ENILSTMENT OF ‘‘RECONDITIONING OF BFP CARTRIDGE”.

Technical QR :

1.        The intent of this bidding is for reconditioning of cartridge of 60MW unit Boiler feed pump (11 Stage, Type-6” LL, Pacific make) and inside Stator Assembly (ISA) of 110 MW Unit Boiler Feed Pump (Type-200 KHI, BHEL Make) at party’s works involving supply of material and precision machining as per OEM standards / drawings.

2.        The bidder should have their own machine shop facility with lathe machines, milling machines, drill machines, surface grinding machines etc. for the required precision machining activities to be carried out during reconditioning of the BFP cartridge / ISA.

3.        The bidder should have facility to carry out balancing of rotating assembly of BFP cartridge / ISA in and around their work shop area.

4.        The bidder should have facilities for complete dismantling and assembling of cartridge / ISA maintaining designed clearances / interference as per OEM standards at their works.
A declaration certifying the above 4 points must be submitted by the agency applying for participation in vendor enlistment process.

Financial criteria:

(A)        AVERAGE ANNUAL TURNOVER:-

The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years i.e. (2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13) as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 46,40,000.00 (Rupees forty six lacs forty thousand only)

Note:  Other income shall not be considered while calculating the average annual turnover.

(B)        The vendor must have executed similar work orders having value not less than the followings:-
Three similar completed works of value Rs 2.32  lacs minimum each

OR

Two similar completed works of value Rs 2.90  lacs minimum each

OR

One similar completed work of value Rs 4.64  lacs minimum


(C)        Similar Work:  The bidder should have executed the reconditioning of BFPs of Thermal Power Plant of capacity 60 MW and above in SEBs, NTPC stations, other Govt. sector, IPPs in the past seven years.

Agency has to submit vendor enlistment fee (non-refundable) of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two hundred only).

5. ESI Act 1948 has been implemented at TTPS with effect from 01.11.2013. ESI code possession has become mandatory for all vendors who wish to participate in tendering process at TTPS.

If the vendor claims that they are not coming under the purview of ESI act, they have to furnish an undertaking along with documentary proof to this effect based on which the tender shall be considered for processing.

The above said ESI code/Undertaking & proof of non applicability of ESI code must be submitted along with other credentials for vendor enlistment. After scrutiny of the same, the vendor shall be accepted/rejected for vendor enlistment.

All vendors shall have to comply with the provisions of ESI Act 1948 under the provisions of the said act.
