1.0 NTPC Limited
(NTPC) invites
sealed bids
from eligible
bidders for
Hiring of Jeep & Car (one each) for Jhanor Gandhar Gas
Power Project (652 MW) situated at Jhanor, Distt.
Bharuch in the State of Gujarat, India, as per the Scope of Work mentioned
hereinafter.
2.0 SCOPE OF
3.0 NTPC intends to finance this Package through domestic
funding and own resources.
4.0 Detailed specification and scope are given in the bidding documents, which are
avail- able for
examination and sale
at the

below and
as per
the following

5.0 All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security for an amount
of Rs. 97,000,/- (Rupees Ninety Seven Thousand
only). Bids
not accompanied by the requisite Bid Security
in a separate
sealed envelope or
bids accompanied by
Bid Security of
inadequate value shall
not be entertained
and in such cases, bids shall
be returned
to the
bidders without
being opened.
6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide
of
purchase of bidding documents.
7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
7.1 Ownership of minimum One Numbers of
Jeep (minimum capacity 6+1) / Car with experience of
deploying
the same for duration of One Year as on the date of NIT.
7.2 The average annual turnover of the
bidder in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the
date of bid
opening shall not be less than Rs. 16.02 Lacs.
7.3 Experience of having successfully
completed similar works* during last seven years ending as on
the last
day of the month previous to the NIT publication:
a) Single Order Rs. 38.46 Lacs
OR
b) Two Orders Rs. 24.04 Lacs each
OR
c) Three Orders Rs. 19.23 Lacs each
Note: Similar work means “Deployment of Vehicles like Car or Jeep”.
8.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw
the Invitation for Bids without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
9.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by any interested Bidder on submission of a written application and payment (non-refundable) of the cost of
the documents as mentioned at clause 4.0 above in the form of an Account Payee Demand
Draft in favour of "NTPC Limited, New Delhi" payable at New Delhi. Issuance
of Bidding Documents
to any Bidder shall not construe that such Bidder is considered
to be qualified. Bids shall be
submitted and opened at the
address given below in the
presence of Bidder's representatives who choose to attend. Prospective bidders from UP state
are compulsorily required to provide

http://www.ntpctender.com on registration and online payment (non-refundable) towards cost of bidding documents and the downloaded
documents can be used for
bidding purposes. In case the
registered bidders who have downloaded
the bidding documents require an additional manual copy of
the documents then
such bidders shall
be required to
purchase the manual copy of the bidding documents following the procedure detailed above.
Issuance of Bidding Documents to any Bidder shall not construe that such Bidder is considered to be qualified to bid. Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address
given below in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend.
10.0 Transfer of Bidding Documents purchased
by
one
intending
Bidder
to
another
is
not
permissible.
