3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at DADRI or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail This specification is intended to cover the following activities and services in respect of all the equipment for Design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of the protection schemes based on numerical principle along with all panels as per the preferred configuration for Generator circuit LAN, shown in NTPC tender drawing for GT#1, GT#3, GT#4, ST#1 & ST#2.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

1.0 The bidder should either be a Company Registered under the Companies Act, 1956 or a Partnership/Proprietorship Firm.

2.0 The bidder should have manufactured, supplied and commissioned at least one (1) no. of Generator Protection Relay Panel

(including the requirement of IEC 61850) of the type offered for 100 MW or above unit, which should have been in successful

operation for atleast one (1) year as on the date of bid opening.

3.0 The average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the last three years ending 31st March of previous financial year

should not be less than INR 124.49 lakhs. (Other income shall not be considered for turnover)

4.0 The bidder should have executed the supply of Generator Protection Relay Panel meeting anyone of the following criteria as on

the date of bid opening:-

i) Single (1) order of contract value not less than INR 199.18 lakhs.

Or

ii) Two (2) orders, each of contract value not less than INR 124.49 lakhs each.

Or

iii) Three (3) orders, each of contract value not less than INR 99.59 lakhs each.

5.0 Bidder should have a valid provident Fund Code number and income tax permanent account number (PAN).

6.0 The bidder should have Service Tax Registration number.

8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any

reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
