1 NTPC invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for sale of various Scrap items
like Non SS Ferrous /Misc. Aluminium / Structural Steel /Ferrous Pipes /GI /MS
Plates /Copper /SS /MS Empty Barrels /MS Empty Paint Tins/ PVC/ Misc. Rubbers
items /Electrical /Air Intake Filter /MS Turning /Wood etc.
2. Detailed
terms & conditions are given in the bidding documents, which are available
for examination and sale at the address given below and as per the following
schedule:

3. A complete
set of Bidding Documents can be downloaded at the website www.ntpctender.com
or www.ntpc.co.in by any interested Bidder free of cost during the above
sale period after registration at the Website.
The downloaded documents can be used for bidding purposes. Further the tender documents shall be issued
personally at the below mentioned address and can also be sent through email on
request. Tender documents shall not be
issued through courier /post.
4. General Requirements
4.1
The bidder shall submit the Bid Security/ EMD
in acceptable form in a separate, sealed envelope, superscribed “EMD/ BID
SECURITY” and NIT No. on top of the envelope.
4.2
The envelope containing the ‘Bid
Security/EMD’ shall be opened first for all the bidders on the date specified
in the NIT.
4.3
Bidders are advised to visit the site to
familiarize themselves with the nature and quantum of items and the site
conditions.
4.4
“ANY BID NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE BID
SECURITY/EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT, IN A SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE SHALL BE REJECTED
BY NTPC AS BEING NON-RESPONSIVE AND RETURNED TO THE BIDDERS WITHOUT BEING
OPENED”
4.5
NTPC shall not be responsible for any postal
delay, loss or non-receipt of documents sent through Post/Courier.
4.6
NTPC
reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
thereof.
4.7
All
applicants/bidders must either possess Income Tax PAN or should have applied
for the same.
4.8
Above details are only indicative. Other detailed terms and conditions shall be
as per our tender documents.
