FOR

Annual Maintenance Contract for O&M of Electrical system at NTPC-EOC, R&D Complex at Noida for a

period of two (02) years.

1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at New Delhi or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Annual Maintenance Contract for O&M of Electrical system at NTPC-EOC, R&D Complex at Noida for a period of two (02) years as per Scope of Work & TechnicalSpecification of Tender documents at Volume-III.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

7.1-a) The bidder should have valid Electrical Contractor License to work on High Voltage installations in the state of U.P. * Dodument requires in support of Q.R: valid Electrical Contractor License to work on High Voltage installations in the state of Uttar Pradesh (U.P)

7.1-b) Bidder should have Min. 02 years consecutive experience in operation/ maintenance/ Erection of substation/ Electrical system of industrial/Commercial/residential complex of 6.6KV or above in India during the preceding 07 years reckoned as on date of Techno Commercial bid opening.

* Dodument requires in support of Q.R: Copies of Purchase Orders to establish the 02 years experience.

7.2) The bidder should have an average annual turnover of at least Rs. 56.15 lacs (Rupees Fifty Six lacs Fifteen

thousand) during the last preceding three completed financial years as on date of bid opening. In case where audited results for the preceding financial year is not available, certification of financial statement from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered as acceptable.

7.3) The bidder should have successfully executed similar job during the last 7 years as on date of bid opening having contract value of any one of the following: One executed work having annual value not less than ` 44.92 lacs (Rupees Forty Four lacs Ninety Two thousand)

Two executed works having annual value not less than ` 28.08 lacs ( Rupees Twenty Eight lacs Eight thousand) each

Three executed works having annual value not less than ` 22.46 lacs ( Rupees Twenty Two lacs Forty Six thousand) each

NOTE:

i) (i) Similar work means operation/ Maintenance/ Erection of substation/ Electrical system of

industrial/Commercial/residential complex of 6.6KV or above in India

ii)The word #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above even if the total contract is started earlier and / or is not completed/closed.

iii) In case of contract under execution ,the value of works executed till the date of Techno Commercial bid opening, will be considered provided, the actual value of work completed is certified by the client. 8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
