3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at New Delhi or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Loading of various types of materials on to transporter#s vehicles and transportation of same from warehouse in Jairampur, Distt. Changlang (Arunachal Pradesh) to Adalaj, Gandhinagar (Gujarat) and deliver the same in the condition as accepted at the time of loading to NTPC#s warehouse premises in Adalaj, Gandhinagar (Gujarat) on full Trailer / Truck load basis as per BOQ and as per terms & conditions. The scope of work of transporter inter-alia includes: - Packing of Materials (as and wherever required) - Loading on to transporter#s vehicles at Jairampur (Transporter to arrange lifting and other tools and tackles like cranes, forklifts etc. as well as labour for loading) - Transportation from Jairampur to Gandhinagar (on warehouse to warehouse basis) - Unloading & stacking at NTPC#s warehouse in Gandhinagar (Transporter to arrange lifting and other tools and tackles like cranes, forklifts etc. as well as labour for unloading & stacking)

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

7.1) The bidder should have at least 02 ( Two) years continuous experience during the last 07(Seven) years as on date of opening of Techno-commercial Proposal in providing Transportation Services to Govt./ Public Sector/ Private Sector Companies/ Institutions.

7.2) The bidder should be a Bank Approved Transporter.

7.3) The bidder should have successfully executed similar type of transportation contract during any 12 months within the last five years From the date of Technical bid opening as detailed below,

a) Single contract with value not less than Rs. 71,21,127/- (Rupees Seventy one lacks twenty one thousands one hundred twenty seven only)

Or

b) Two contract with value not less than Rs. 44,50,705/- ( Rupees Forty four lacks fifty thousands seven hundred five only)

Or

c) Three contract with value not less than Rs. 35,60,564/- (Rupees Thirty five lacks sixty thousands five hundred sixty four only)

Note:

(I) Similar type means Transportation of material which includes transportation by trailors.

(II) The word "Executed" means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified even if the total contract is not completed/closed.

(III) In case, order(s) is/are under execution, the value of works executed till the date of opening of techno commercial bid as certified by the employer shall be considered.

7.4) The average annual turnover of bidder in the preceding (3) three financial years as on date of Techno Commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs 3.56 Crores ( Rupees Three crores fifty six lacks only.)

Note;

(I) While computing the annual turn over ,other income shall not be considered.

(II) In case where audited results for the preceding financial year is not available, certification of financial statement from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered as acceptable.

* THE BIDDER SHALL SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS IN SUPPORT OF MEETING THE QR ALONG

WITH THEIR BID. For QR-7.1) Copies of Purchase Orders to establish the 02 years experience.

For QR-7.2 & 7.3) Copies of Purchase Orders as per the specified values mentioned in QR No-7.3 along with client certificate(s) for satisfactory completion of work and Banker's Certificate to be furnished as per QR No. 7.2.

For QR-7.4) Copies of audited balance sheet and profit & loss account for the preceding 03 financial years and in case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered. IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS TO BIDDER: The prospective bidders in order to be able to download the bidding documents shall be required to compulsorily register themselves with the NTPC website which shall be a one time process. The registered prospective bidders who wish to download the bidding documents shall be prompted to enter his user id & password. Subsequent to entering of user id & password and acceptance of the same by the system, the prospective bidder shall be routed to payment gateway for making payment towards cost of bidding documents. On successful payment of cost of bidding documents the prospective bidder shall be authorized to download the bidding documents and the details of the prospective bidder shall be stored by the system.

A complete set of Bidding documents may be purchased by any interested bidder on submission of a written application and payment (non refundable) of the cost of the bidding documents as mentioned above in the form of a Crossed Account Payee Demand Draft in favor of NTPC Limited,payble at Noida/ New Delhi.

The bidding documents can also be downloaded from http://www.ntpctender.com on registration and on-line payment (non refundable) towards cost of bidding documents and the downloaded documents can be used for bidding purposes. In case the registered bidders who have downloaded the bidding documents require an additional manual copy of the documents then such bidders shall be required to purchase the manual copy of the bidding documents following the procedure detailed above. Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified; Bids shall be submitted and opened at the address given below in the presence of bidder#s representative who choose to attend the bid opening.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

# Proposals submitted by Bidders who do not meet the qualifying requirements, or incomplete bids, will be rejected.

# NTPC reserves the right to verify any claims made by Bidders and to carry out a capability assessment. The decision of NTPC shall be final and binding in this regard.

# NTPC also reserves the right to accept any proposal or to reject all proposals at any time prior to short-listing,

awarding of contract without incurring any liability or without any obligation to inform the affected party the grounds for such decision.

# NTPC will not be responsible in any way for late receipt of request for tender documents or proposal due to any postal delay or delay in any form in transit.

# The proposals shall be opened on the Date & Time mentioned in the documents in the presence of Bidders who shall choose to attend the bid opening.

# Bidder along with their bid shall furnish copy of the Service Tax Registration Certificate & PAN allotted by Income Tax Department.

# Prospective Bidders from U.P State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents from office of NTPC.

8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
