QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

 

1.     The bidder should be a manufacturer or authorized representative of the manufacturer of Actuators for Thermal Power Plants (Coal Based).

 

2.     The bidder should have supplied similar type of equipment to Thermal Power Plants of  200MW or above capacity in NTPC/other power utilities during last seven years ending last day of the month previous to the month of NIT, having minimum contract values as indicated below:

a)     Three executed/completed orders, as above, of cost not less than Rs. 38 Lakh each.

OR

b)    Two executed/completed orders, as above, of cost not less than Rs. 48 Lakh each

OR

c)     One executed/completed order, as above, of cost not less than Rs. 76 Lakh.

 

3.     The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three (3) completed financial years ending with Financial Year 2011-12 shall not be less than Rs. 95 Lakh.

NOTE:

(a) In a tender the authorized representative on behalf of the Principal/OEM or Principal/OEM itself can bid but both can not bid simultaneously for the same item/product in the same tender.

(b) If an authorized representative submits bid on behalf of the Principal/OEM, the same agent shall not submit a bid on behalf of another Principal/OEM in the same tender for the same item/product.

 

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

 

1.         Tender documents shall be issued to intending bidders on request.  However, such issue of tender documents shall not construe that the bidder are considered qualified. Qualifying  Requirement will be reviewed at the time of bid evaluation

2.     Work Order/Award letter/Purchase Order with Value along with proof of executed amount, Scope of Work and Bill of Quantity with rates are to be submitted along with Technical Bid for review. The proof of executed amount apart from other documents is essential from PSUs / any Govt./Semi Govt. Organization/Public Limited Company.

 

3.     Tender Cost in the form of DEMAND DRAFT drawn in favour of “NTPC Ltd.”  Payable at STATE BANK OF INDIA, SHAKTINAGAR (Br. Code No. 5767) Or UNION BANK OF INDIA, SHAKTINAGAR (Br. Code No. 541486) shall be submitted along with the request for issuance of tender documents, which shall be refunded in case the tender document is not issued. However, Pay Order/Bankers Cheque shall also be acceptable, if the same is issued by SBI/UBI, Shaktinagar.

04.  Small Scale Industries registered with National Small Scale industries Corpn. (NSSIC) shall be exempted from payment of Tender Fee/Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).  SSI Units registered With UPSSIDC are also entitled for exemption of Tender Fee / Earnest Money Deposit (EMD).

 

        Small Scale Industries registered with NSIC/UPSSIDC shall be exempted from payment of Security Deposit upto the monetary limit for which the Unit is registered with NSIC/UPSSIDC.

 

        Bidders seeking exemption should enclose a photocopy of valid Registration Certificate giving details such as validity, stores and monetary limits, failing which they run the risk of their bid being passed over as ineligible for this concession. 

 

5.0     Tender shall be received up to 3.00 PM at Contract services (Administrative Building) and opened at 3.30 PM on the aforesaid Bid Opening Date in the presence of tenderer or their representatives, who may like to be present.  NTPC takes no responsibility for delay, loss or non-receipt of tender documents sent by post/courier.  

 

6.0     On scheduled date of bid opening, only EMD and Technical Bids shall be opened.

7.0     BIDs not accompanied with the requisite Bid-Guarantee (EMD) in a separate sealed cover or Bids accompanied with inadequate value of EMD shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall be liable for rejection.

8.0     NTPC reserves the right to reject or accept or split any or all offers without assigning any reason whatsoever. 

9.0     Request for issue of bid document shall be made to Dy. General Manager (Contracts) at the address given as under.
