II. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
PACKAGE
– B: Hiring of Seven Seater Tata Sumo or Bolero
Jeeps of model 2014 or later (Make of the vehicles shall be not earlier than
2014) – 12 hrs.duty. (Contractors

The
bidder should have experience in supply of vehicles on hire. |

2 |
The bidder should have executed orders for
supply of vehicles on hire basis
during the last 7 years as on last date of the previous month from the
date of publication of NIT and should submit documentary proof of having
executed the purchase orders as below |

The bidder may apply for any number of vehicles
between one (1) to Twenty seven (27) numbers. The bidder should have executed
purchase orders of cumulative value not less than (Rs.4.46 Lakhs X Number of vehicles applied for i.e. Rs.4.46 Lakhs for one vehicle, Rs.8.92
Lakhs for two vehicles…) in any continuous 12 months during the last 7
years as on last date of the previous month from the date of publication of
NIT. |

The bidder should either own OR should have booked OR should produce consent letter from
the owner that they are ready to provide the vehicle on hire on award of
contract to the bidder “one (1)
Number Tata Sumo Or Bolero Jeeps with
hard top of 2014 or later model (Make of the vehicles shall be not earlier
than 2014) for each Number of vehicle
applied for”. |

The average annual turnover of the bidder
in last three financial years shall not be less than (Rs.4.46 Lakhs X Number of vehicles applied for i.e. Rs.4.46 Lakhs
for one vehicle, Rs.8.92 Lakhs for two vehicles…). |

The bidder should have independent PF code
issued by RPFC. |

5 |
Agency
shall produce proof of booking of at least one vehicle of relevant model on
or before 07th FEB 2014 for further consideration of their offer |

II. GENERAL
CONDITIONS: |
|
|
|
Preference will be given to Owner Cum
Driver category over the Contractors. |
|
01. |
Bid Documents can be obtained from the address given
below on any working day between 10.00 hrs. to 16.00 hrs. on payment of
Rs.1288/- (inclusive of tax)
(Non-refundable) towards the Cost of Bid Documents for each PACKAGE in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour
of NTPC Ltd, payable at STATE BANK OF
HYDERABAD, NTPC-DEEPANJALI NAGAR (Code
No.20914). |

In case the bidder wants the document to be sent by post,
the above amount shall be Rs.1388/-. |

The
bidding documents can also be downloaded from www.ntpctender.com, www.ntpc.co.in or www.ntpcindia.com on registration and on line payment (non-refundable) towards cost of
bidding documents and the downloaded documents can be used for bidding
purposes. In case the required bidders, who have downloaded the bidding documents require an additional manual copy
of the documents, then such bidders shall be required to purchase the manual
copy of the bidding documents following the procedure detailed above. Issuance
of bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is
considered to be qualified. Bids shall
be submitted & opened at the address given below in presence of bidder’s
representative who chose to attend the bid opening. |

The bid documents
Package wise shall
be submitted duly signed and stamped
on each page, as follows: v Cover-1 shall consist
of 1. Earnest Money Deposit. 2. Certificate regarding acceptance of
Important Conditions of Contract. 3. Letter of Undertaking on non-judicial bond
paper of Rs.100/-. 4. No deviation certificate in the prescribed
format. 5. Documents in support of meeting the
Qualifying Requirements v Cover – 2 shall
consist of 1. Price bid in Bill of Quantity provided by NTPC v Both the covers shall be kept in one single
envelope and sealed with proper packing. |

The
Bid Documents shall be received up to 3.00 PM in the office of AGM
(C&M), at the address given below. The envelope containing the
documents shall be opened at 3.30 PM on the Bid Opening Date
in the presence of those Bidders who wish to be present. If there is any
change in Bid Opening Date due to unavoidable reasons, the same will be
intimated by post to all the bidders. Bids
not accompanied with the requisite EMD, Certificate regarding Acceptance of Important
conditions of contract, and Letter of Undertaking or bids accompanied with
EMD of inadequate value, shall not be entertained and in such cases, bids
shall be returned to the bidders without being opened. |

05. |
In
case the tender documents are obtained by post, NTPC is not responsible for
any loss or postal/communication delay.
Offers received late/incomplete are liable to be rejected. |
06. |
Detailed
Specifications of job including Scope of Work and all Terms and Conditions of
NIT’s are given in Tender Documents. |
|
07. |
The
relevant documents for Qualifying Requirements stipulated above shall be
submitted by the Bidder as per the provisions of Bid Documents. |
|
08. |
NTPC
shall not be responsible for any loss or postal delays. |
|
09. |
NTPC
reserves the right to reject any or all the bids or cancel / withdraw the
Notice Inviting Tender without assigning any reason what so ever and in such
case no Bidder / Intending Bidder shall have any claim arising out of such
action. |
