1.0 NTPC invites on-line bids from eligible Bidders for aforesaid package, as per the scope of work briefly mentioned hereinafter:

3.0 Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the stipulated bid submission closing date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at New Delhi or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Supply , Installation and Commissioning of the 3D Prototyping Machine and software as per Technical specifications. The contractor shall provide training to two NTPC executives on the machine for minimum for 3 days.

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

7.1 The bidder should be a manufacturer of 3D Rapid Prototyping Machine as on the date of opening of Techno commercial proposal.

OR

The bidder should be a Subsidiary/ Dealer/ Distributor/ Channel Partner of the manufacturer of 3D rapid prototype Machine. The bidder should be duly authorsied by the manufacturer for this tender and should quote only for their products.

7.2 The bidder or their manufacturer should have executed any one of the following Similar work in the preceding five years as on the date of opening of Techno-Commercial proposal: One Similar work of value not less than Rs. 6.932 Million (Rupee Six Million nine hundred thirty two thousand only) or equivalent in foreign currency.

OR

Two Similar works of value not less than Rs. 4.333 Million (Rupee Four Million three hundred thirty three thousand only) each or equivalent in foreign currency.

OR

Three Similar works of value not less than Rs. 3.466 Million (Rupee Three Million four hundred sixty six thousand only) each or equivalent in foreign currency.

Note:

7.2.1 #Similar# work means any work which includes supply, installation and commissioning of 3D Rapid Prototyping Machine.

7.2.2 For order in foreign currency, the exchange rate as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening shall be used.

7.3 The bidder should have authorized service provider centre in India.

7.4 Financial Criteria: The average annual turnover of the bidder in the preceding three(3) financial years as on the date of opening of Techno-Commercial bid should not be less than Rs. 34.664 Million (Rupee Thirty four Million Six hundred sixty four thousand only).

Note:

7.4.1 While computing the annual turnover other income shall not be considered.

Note:

a. The work #executed# mentioned above means the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified above, even if the total contract is started earlier and/or is not completed/ closed. i.e. the bidder should have completed supply , installation & commissioning of 3D Rapid prototyping Machine.

b. In case of orders under execution, the value of work executed till the date of opening of Techno-Commercial will be considered provided the value of executed work is certified by the client. The work executed should include supply, installation & commissioning of 3D Rapid prototyping Machine.

c. For Turnover indicated in foreign currency, the exchange rate as on 7 days prior to the date of opening of Techno-commercial bid shall be used.

d. In case where audited results for the last preceding financial year are not available, certification of financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall be considered acceptable.

e. In case bid is submitted by the agent on behalf of their manufacturer and order is to be placed on manufacturer, the turnover of manufacturer can also be considered.

8.0 Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
