QUALIFYING  
REQUIREMENT:  
Proposed Qualifying requirement for the present proposal:-  
a) The bidder should offer vehicles (closed jeep (diesel driven and non-AC)/Xylo (AC) and  
bidder shall offer the vehicle model of year 2017 or later.  
b) The bidder shall own vehicle as on date of technical bid opening.  
OR  
The bidder shall give the undertaking that he/she shall own vehicle before the  
Issuance of LOA/LOI.  
c) The offered vehicle should be compliant to all the statutory norms and regulations to  
comply as commercial vehicle on road.

Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day or  
downloaded from NTPC tender website tender-sale start-date as indicated above. Tender  
document will be sold upto 17.30 hrs. of last Date of sale.  
The bids shall be received upto 1:00 P.M. on due date of bid-opening in the office of Sr.  
Manager (C&M) NTPC, UNCHAHAR and shall be opened at 2: 45 P.M. on the dates as stipulated  
above in the presence of those bidders who wish to be present. If there is any change in technical  
bid opening date, due to unavoidable reasons, the same will be intimated by post to bidders, who  
have applied for the same for participating.

In case application for tender-documents is obtained by post, any delay will the sole responsibility of  
the contractor and NTPC is not responsible or any postal/communication delay. Offers received  
late/incomplete are liable to be rejected.

Bidders must be having valid separate provident fund registration code no (if applicable) issued by  
the concerned regional provident fund commissioner, and PAN.  
The technical bid must be accompanied with the following documentary evidence for each offered  
vehicle separately.  
a) Attested copy of R.C Book /Road tax, comprehensive insurance ,pollution control certificate, driving  
license of driver (One driving license for 12 hrs duty and two driving license in case of 24 hrs duty).  
b) Attested photo state-copy of taxi permit and commercial permit (if any).  
c) Attested photo state-copy of P.F registration code no.(if applicable) with regional provident fund  
commissioner concerned and PAN.

Notwithstanding anything stated above, the owner reserves the right to assess bidder’s capability  
and capacity to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the  
overall interest of NTPC Ltd and decision of NTPC in this regard shall be final.

The bidding documents shall be issued to all the prospective bidders upon the request without  
prima-facie examination of qualification status. The qualification status shall be examined by the  
tender committee only during the process of evaluation. However, such issue of tender documents  
will not automatically mean that bidders are considered qualified.

If a bidder intends to offer more than one vehicle of same/different category in that case, they shall  
have to submit all details as per requirements of the technical bid for each vehicles being offered  
and quote rates in the commercial bid accordingly.

0. Envelope containing Technical Bid, Tender fee & EMD, and letter of undertaking will be opened 1  
as on the technical Bid Opening date. Commercial Bids of only those bidders will be opened on  
scheduled date who meets the criteria of Pre-Qualifying Requirements as specified above.  
1. NTPC shall not be responsible for any loss/ postal delays and reserves the right to split any or all the  
quotation without assigning and reasons thereof.

has been given preference.
