6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.
7.0Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:
1.QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS (QR) FOR BIDDERS: The bidders are required to fulfil the following:
a) The bidder should be a manufacturer/ supplier of 'cast basalt bend and /or cast basalt pipe of 200 NB or above' and should have supplied the same in contract(s) of the following values, during the last seven (07) years as on the date of bid opening:
i) Single contract of value not less than |
INR 27.00 Lakhs. |

ii) Two contracts of value not less than |
INR 17.00 Lakhs each. |
OR |

iii) Three contracts of value not less than |
INR 14.00 Lakhs each. |
b)The average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the preceding three (03) financial years as on date of bid opening shall not be less than INR 34 Lakhs (Rupees Thirty four Lakhs Only).
c)In case where audited results for the last financial year as on date of
NOTE:
# Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turnover.
# Notwithstanding anything stated above, the employer reserves the right to undertake a physical assessment of the capacity and capabilities including financial capacity and capability of the bidder/ his collaborator(s)/ associate(s)/ subsidiary(ies)/ group company(ies) to perform the contract, should the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of the employer. The physical assessment shall include but not be limited to the assessment of the office/ facilities/ bankers/ reference works by the employer. A negative determination of such assessment of capacity and capabilities may result in the rejection of the bid.
# The word 'executed' means that the bidder should have achieved the criteria specified in the above QR within preceding Seven (07) years period even if the contract has been started earlier and/ or is not completed/ closed.
2. Documents required for fulfilment of 'Qualifying requirements" with bidder
a)Copy of 'Affidavit for proprietorship/partnership deed/Article of association including changes if any', Copy of PAN, Copy of VAT/TIN registration with Sales Tax Authorities.
b)Copies of Purchase order and corresponding Invoices/Receipted Challan/ Delivery Challan/ LR/ RR/ Final Inspection report/MDCC as a proof of having supplied the item.
c)Copy of Certificates to prove the manufacturing capacity for this item.
d)Audited Balance sheet / Certificate from Charted Accountant incorporating the turnover details during the last 3 financial years.
e)All technical details of the offered item with supporting technical catalogue duly signed and attached with bid .
f)NOTE: All the above documents are to be attached in the 'C folder, while submitting bid.
3)On scheduled Bid opening date, only the technical bid shall be opened. After assessment of QR data & other technical details as submitted by bidder, QR & Technically qualified bidders shall be intimated for opening of their price bid later on.
4)Bidder should note that "ANY BID, NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ACCEPTABLE BID SECURITY and NO DEVIATION
CERTIFICATE IN A SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE SUBMITTED IN PHYSICAL FORM IN THE OFFICE OF
5)Bid Documents can be downloaded from our web site http://www.ntpctender.com or
of Crossed account payee Bank Draft drawn in favor of 'NTPC Limited' payable at SBI Mouda( Branch Code:04813). Tender documents are not transferable.
Note: MSEs/NSIC registered vendors shall be issued the bidding document free of cost and shall be exempted from submission of EMD on submission of relevant documents to NTPC Mouda.
6)The last date for receipt of queries from bidders is mentioned in the bid invitation. Bidders are requested to submit all the queries in writing/email to reach NTPC prior to this date.

Any errata/addendum/corrigendum subsequent to this NIT shall not be published through press advertisement and the same shall be available only on our website www.ntpctender.com
8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.
9.0 NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
