Schedule – 9
(PROPOSAL FOR INSTALLATION OF DEMO PLANT)
We are willing to install a SNCR demonstration plant at our own expense. Information collected from this demonstration plant would be useful in accessing the operational capability and designing of SNCR System suitable for Indian coal(s).This test will be performed along with involvement of NTPC and we will share the outcomes of the test along with all data collected during the test with NTPC. Detail of this proposal is attached herewith. We request that consumable (i.e. Power, water, auxiliary steam, compressed air and Anhydrous Ammonia etc) required during study shall be provided by NTPC. Required quantity of same is indicated in our proposal. However if urea or some reagent other than Anhydrous Ammonia is required for SNCR System, than that will be arranged by us. In case a coal fired unit is offered to us for the demonstration test, we will discuss and finalise detailed test protocol with NTPC within 2 week’s time.
