5.0 Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail Sub: On Line Leak Sealing Job in ST-I & II.
PLANT OVERVIEW
NTPC Talcher-Kaniha (TSTPS) plant is located in Kaniha block under Talcher sub-division of Angul district in the state of Orissa.

EQUIPMENTS INVOLVED
Stage-I Boiler:- 2 X 500 MW ,Once Through Tower Type, Single pass boiler (No second pass), Maximum Height of Boiler:- 92 Mtr.
Make:- Stein Industries, France,
All the coil banks, i.e. Economiser-1, Economiser-2, LTRH, HTSH, HTRH, ITSH are arranged horizontally.
In addition to main Boiler following equipments are also involved:-
64 Nos of Wall Blower and 56 Nos of LRSB per boiler. Boiler is equipped with 16 nos Spring Loaded safety valves, 8 Electromatic Relief valves .All Boiler valves except the control valves/Block valves are of BHEL make and mostly are under size 125 Nb. Boiler Burner is having 40 coal nozzles & 20 Oil guns.
Stage-II Boiler:- 4 X 500 MW, Circulation type two pass boiler with Drum. Maximum Height of Boiler:- 85 Mtr. Make:- BHEL,
Three banks of Economiser, Two banks of LTSH and Divisional Panel, Platen Super Heater, Reheater are arranged vertically.
In addition to main Boiler following equipments are included per unit:-
88 Nos of Wall Blower and 34 Nos of LRSB per boiler. JOBS IN BRIEF
This job is for online leak sealing arresting in boiler and turbine areas of TSTPS.
The job requires attending and arresting of leakages occurring in valves, pipelines etc. The job has to be carried out on
365X24 hour basis. In odd hours also, mobilization at site has |
to be done within 2 hours of obtaining information. The |

2.Other income shall not be considered for arriving at nnual turnover. |

3.In cases where audited results of |
the last financial yea as on the |
date of techno commercial bid opening |

available, the financial results certified by |
a practicing |
chartered accountant shall be |
considered acceptable. In |

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without
assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
