NTPC Sipat invites bids from eligible Bidders for the Contract namely : “ Collection and sale of cenosphere from Ash Pond at NTPC Sipat“ , as per the Scope of Work briefly mentioned herein after

I- Detailed conditions and scope of work are given in the Tender Document , which can be downloaded from NTPC Tender website (http://ntpctender.com) or can be obtain by submitting a request letter to DGM(CS-I/c) NTPC Sipat as per the following Schedule :

I.QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS FOR TENDER No: CS/15135

1.1The bidder should be a company or a firm.

1.2The bidder should have at least one year experience in Harvesting of Cenosphere from Ash Pond of a coal based thermal power plant of capacity 200 MW or above prior to the date of bid opening.

1.3The Bidder who are in the business of Cenosphere and do not meet the requirement at (1.2) above , can also participate provided the bidder Collaborate(s)/Associate(s) with the party who meet the requirement under (1.2) above , which the Bidder itself is not able to meet.

1.4(a) Bidder seeking qualification through clause No. (1.3) shall furnish undertaking jointly executed by it and its Collaborate/Associate for the successful performance of the contract as per owner’s format enclosed in the Bidding documents. The deed(s) of joint undertaking(s) shall be submitted along with the Techno-Commercial Bid, failing which the bidder shall be disqualified and its Techno-commercial Bid Shall be rejected.

(b)Further in case of award , Bidder’s Collaborate(s)/Associate(s)shall be required to furnish an on-demand Bank Guarantee as per the format enclosed with the Bidding documents for a value equal to 1% (one percent) of the total contract price in addition to the Contract Performance Security to be furnished by the bidder.

1.5 . Financial Criteria :

The average annual turnover of the Bidder , in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 104 lakhs (Rupees One Hundred Four lakhs only) per Annum.

Notes.

(i) Other income shall not be considered for arriving at annual turn over.

II- Reserve Price is Rs. 104,00,000/- respectively. Bid value which is to be quote by the party should be above the mention Reserve Price. Bid Value received below the Reserve Price shall be rejected.

III- Downloading of Tender Documents :

Bid Document and other related documents can be downloaded from NTPC tender website (http://ntpctender.com) after paying Tender Fee of Rs.2,363/- directly or can be obtain by submitting a request letter with Tender Fee to DGM(CS-I/c) NTPC Sipat.

IV– Bid Security/EMD:

All bids must be accompanied by requisite amount of Bid Security (EMD) as per Table :1 above in the form of Demand Draft/Pay order/ Bankers Cheque, Payable at BILASPUR (Chhattisgarh) from any Nationalized or Scheduled banks. (The list of Banks is enclosed in the Bid Documents as per Annexure-VII).

Bids not accompanied by requisite Bid Security/EMD , in a separate sealed envelope or bids accompanied by Bid Security of inadequate value or not in acceptable form shall not be entertained and in such cases bids shall be returned to the bidders without being opened.

V- Deadline for submission of Applications :

Bid documents will be received and opened by the supplier at the address specified in Point-V below as per time schedule indicated at Table :1 above respectively.

The Bidder has the option of sending the Bid Document (i.e their offer) by Registered Post / Speed post only (Courier service not applicable in NTPC sipat site) or by submitting the Bid Document in person , so as to reach by the Date and Time indicated in Table : 1 above.

Bid Document submitted by fax/telex/telegram/e-mail will not be accepted under any circumstances whatsoever.

In case the date of Bid Opening happens to fall on a holiday , the next working day will be the date of Bid Openeing.

NTPC reserves the right to reject any/all offers which is/are not submitted according to the instructions mention above.
