I. QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:
1.0 Qualifying Requirement:
1.1 The bidder should be a company or firm with at least one year experience in harvesting of Cenosphere from Ash Pond of a coal based thermal power plant of capacity 200 MW or above prior to the date of bid opening.
1.2 The Bidder who are in the business of Cenosphere and do not meet the requirement at (1.1) above, can also participate provided the bidder Collaborate(s)/Associate(s) with the party who meet the requirement under (1.1) above, which the Bidder itself is not able to meet.
1.3 a) Bidder seeking qualification through clause No. (1.2) shall furnish undertaking jointly executed by it and its Collaborator/Associate for the successful performance of the contract as per owners format enclosed in the Bidding documents. The deed(s) of joint undertaking(s) shall be submitted along with the Techno-Commercial Bid, failing which the Bidder shall be disqualified and its Techno-Commercial Bid shall be rejected.
b) Further, in case of award, Bidder’s Collaborator(s)/Associate(s) shall be required to furnish an on-demand Bank Guarantee as per the format enclosed with the Bidding documents for a value equal to 1% (one percent) of the total contract price in addition to the Contract Performance Security to be furnished by the Bidder.
1.4 Financial Criteria
1.4.1 The average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three (3) financial years as on the date of Techno - Commercial bid opening shall not be less than Rs.80 Lakhs (Rupees Eighty Lakhs only) per annum.

Bid Documents can be obtained from the address given below on any working day between 09.00 hrs. to 16.00 hrs. on payment of Rs. 1,288/- (Non-refundable) towards the Cost of Bid Documents in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of NTPC Ltd. payable at STATE BANK OF HYDERABAD, NTPC-DEEPANJALI NAGAR (Code No.20914). IN CASE THE TENDER DOCUMENTS TO BE SENT BY POST, THE AMOUNT SHALL BE RS.1,388/. |

The bidding documents can also be downloaded from http://www.ntpctender.com on registration and on line payment (non-refundable) towards cost of bidding documents and the downloaded documents can be used for bidding purposes. In case the required bidders, who have downloaded the bidding documents require an additional manual copy of the documents, then such bidders shall be required to purchase the manual copy of the bidding documents following the procedure detailed above. Issuance of bid documents to any bidder shall not construe that such bidder is considered to be qualified. Bids shall be submitted & opened at the address given below in presence of bidder’s representative who choose to attend the bid opening. |

The bid documents shall be submitted in TWO PARTS ( Both the parts on Bid Opening Date) as follows on TWO PART BIDDING BASIS: v PART- A (Cover-1 shall consist of) 1. Earnest Money Deposit. 2. Acceptance of FRAUD PREVENTION POLICY 3. Certificate regarding acceptance of Important Conditions of Contract. 4. Letter of Undertaking on non-judicial bond paper of Rs.100/-. 5. No deviation certificate in the prescribed format. 6. Documents in support of meeting the Qualifying Requirements v PART-B (Cover – 2 shall consist of) 1. Price bid in Bill of Quantity provided by NTPC v Both the covers shall be kept in one single envelope and sealed with proper packing & superscription of Details like NIT Ref.No, Package name, Name of agency & BOD. |

The Bid Documents (both Part-A & Part-B) shall be received up to 22.07.2015 @ 3.00 PM in the office of AGM (C&M), at the address given below. The envelope containing Part-A shall be opened at 3.30 PM on the Bid Opening Date in the presence of those Bidders who wish to be present. If there is any change in Bid Opening Date due to unavoidable reasons, the same will be intimated by post to all the bidders. Bids not accompanied with the requisite documents mentioned in PART - A, or bids accompanied with EMD of inadequate value, shall not be entertained and in such cases, bids shall be returned to the bidders without being opened. |

The Price Bid (Part-B) Opening date will be intimated later on separately. |

The Price Bid (Part-B) of only those tenderers shall be opened, whose Part-A is found acceptable i.e. who have submitted acceptable EMD, Letter of Undertaking and meeting the qualifying requirements as indicated above in the tender notice. |

In case the tender documents are obtained by post, NTPC is not responsible for any loss or postal/communication delay. Offers received late/incomplete are liable to be rejected. |

Detailed Specifications of job including Scope of Work and all Terms and Conditions of NIT’s are given in Tender Documents. |

09. |
The relevant documents for Qualifying Requirements stipulated above shall be submitted by the Bidder as per the provisions of Bid Documents. |
|
10. |
NTPC shall not be responsible for any loss or postal delays. |
|
11. |
NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all the bids or cancel / withdraw the Notice Inviting Tender without assigning any reason what so ever and in such case no Bidder / Intending Bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action. |
