3.0Bid Security and Integrity Pact (if applicable) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope separately offline by the

stipulated bid	submission closing	date and time at the address given below. Any bid without an acceptable Bid Security
and Integrity	Pact (if applicable)	shall be treated as non-responsive by the employer and shall not be opened.

4.0 A complete set of Bidding Documents may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non-refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned above in the form of a crossed account Payee demand draft in favour of NTPC Ltd., Payable at DISTRICT: KARIMNAGAR or directly through the payment gateway at our SRM Site (https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require vendor code and SRM user id and password which can be obtained by submitting a questionnaire available at our SRM site as well as at NTPC tender site (www.ntpctender.com). First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least three working days prior to Document Sale Close date alongwith duly filled in questionnare for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.

5.0Brief Scope of Work & other specific detail

SUPPLY OF 16MVA,18KV/6.9KV UNIT TRANSFORMER FOR STAGE-1

6.0 Prospective bidders from U.P. State are compulsorily required to provide TIN number at the time of purchase of bidding documents.

7.0 Qualifying Requirements for Bidders:

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

1.1)The Bidder should have designed, manufactured, installed &commissioned/supervised commissioning of at least Two(02) Numbers (one each at two different installations) of 18 KV or above class Transformers of at least 16 MVA capacity (three phase transformer), which are in successful operation for at least Two (02) years as on the date of bid

opening.
1.2)The bidder should have his own testing facilities for conducting routine and type tests as per	IS-2026 (except short
circuit test),16 MVA, 18KV or higher rates oil filled transformer manufactured by bidder should	have	been successfully
short circuit tested.
1.3)Bidder must have supplied power transformer(s) of minimum 18KV class within the last Seven	(07)	Years as on the
date of bid opening with either of the following:
Single order value not less than Rs.80.62/- Lakhs - (Rupees Eighty Lakhs and Sixty Two Thousand Only).
OR
Two orders each of value not less than Rs.50.39/- Lakhs (Rupees Fifty Lakhs and Thirty Nine Thousand Only)
OR
Three orders each of value not less than Rs.40.31/- Lakhs (Rupees Forty Lakhs and Thirty One Thousand Only).
2.1&2.2:

The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years ending 31/03/2014 shall not be less
than Rs.108 Lakhs (Indian Rupees One	Hundred and	Eight Lakhs only).In case where audited results for the last
preceding financial year are not available,	certification of	financial statements from a practicing Chartered Accountant shall

also be considered.

3.0:Notwithstanding anything stated above, the NTPC reserves the right to assess the capabilities and capacity of the

Bidder / his collaborators / associates / subsidiaries / group companies to perform the contract, should the circumstances
warrant such an assessment in the overall interest of NTPC.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Cost of tender document:Rs.2,250/-
Tender Fee Payment can be made through Payment Gateway	or shall be	submitted in the form of Demand Draft drawn
in favour of#NTPC Ltd#, payable at SBH,Ramagundam. In	case the	payment of tender fee is made through DD,

authorization shall be given by dealing officer for viewing Tender details in SRM site.MSE's(Micro & Small Enterprises) registered with NSIC/DIC(District Industries Centre) are exempted from payment of Tender Fee. MSE's should submit the valid copy of registration in place of DD to enable them to view the Tender details in SRM.

2.A Complete set of bidding Document may be downloaded by any interested Bidder on payment (non- refundable) of the cost of the documents as mentioned at Para:1 above directly through the payment gateway at our SRM site:(https://etender.ntpclakshya.co.in/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart). For logging on to the SRM Site, the bidder would require Vendor Code and SRM user Id and Password. First time users not allotted any vendor code are required to approach NTPC at least SEVEN working days prior to Document Sale Close date for issue of vendor code and SRM user id/password.Issuance of bidding documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

3.Tender documents are Non transferable. Only the bidder, in whose name the tender documents are downloaded, is allowed to submit offer. No bidder other than the original bidder in whose name the tender documents are sold / downloaded, can submit the offer.

4.EMD Amount:Rs.2,02,000/-(Rupees Two Lakh Two Thousand Only).MSE's(Micro & Small Enterprises) registered with NSIC/DIC (District Industries Centre) are exempted from payment of EMD.MSE's should submit the valid copy of registration to get the exemption.

Acceptable form of EMD:Demand Draft OR Banker#s cheque drawn in favour of'NTPC Limited', payable at SBH, Ramagundam OR Bank Guarantee(BG) as per prescribed format along with check list.The list of Banks and other conditions of EMD are mentioned in GPC(General Purchase Conditions) attached in C-Folder.

5.Bid Security, in original,	for	the requisite	amount as stipulated in Para:4 above shall	be submitted prior	to	the
stipulated bid submission closing		date and time at the address given herein below. If Bid		Security in Original, in a
separate sealed cover is not received or bids for which Bid security of inadequate value is received the same shall					not	be
entertained and in such cases	bids	shall not be	opened.

6. This Tender is being executed in e-tendering mode without reverse auction.

7.NTPC reserves the right to allow purchase preference to Central Government/Public Sector Undertakings as admissible under the policy of Government of India. The prospective bidders may apprise themselves of the relevant Government notification before submitting their bids.

8.0Issuance of Bidding Documents to any bidder shall not construe that bidder is considered qualified.

9.0NTPC reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel/withdraw the NIT for the subject package without

assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder/intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
